+ Clear and timely instructions

- The ability to enter a destination via the map is virtually impossible

+ The screen is very large. Good to keep an eye on.

- The bottom cable needs to be secured tightly. If not the battery runs out in less then 10 minutes. Didn't know this and was half-way to a destination and the battery died on me. Was lost till I noticed the connection was not correct. No instructions given.

- DOES NOT RECOGNISE MY HOUSE NUMBER,ALSO IT SHOULD OF CAME WITH A STYLUS TO TOUCH THE SCREEN WITH.I HAVE HAD TO COMMANDEER ONE FROM WORK.
A BIT AWKWARD TAKING OFF THE SCREEN MOUNT WHILE IT IS ATTACHED TO THE SCREEN.

+ We bought this for my daughter because we were so impressed with our Navman S90. The unit is easy to use and the information produced is very clear. It has a number of neat features and my duaghter was particularly impressed that she could get a route to the restaraunt by using its name.

- The battery life without external power could be a bit better (you get about 2 hours) and the USB power cord has a slightly fiddly attachment to the mounting cradle that you fit to the windscreen.

- Bit fiddley to attach to charger while in cradle, there is a knack to it. As with all sat nav not always accurate, however, having just moved to a new area, it's definately made our lives a lot easier.

- There should be free map update with the unit for the first 30 days after purchase like TomTom does as sometimes unit might be for 1year on the shop shelf. There were few cases that maps were out of date. The biggest disappointment is that unit has only half of Europe, and there is no countries which I was planning to go this summer (Czech Rep, Slovakia, Poland).

+ Very easy to use,worked straight out of the box,instructions easy to understand not to technical,having said that my 12 year old set it up for me.

- visual interface can be a little confusing whilst driving but you shouldn't be doing anything other than just looking at it. Optional traffic module did not work well in my area of East Anglia.

- When you add 'Traffic' you get a bit of a 'can of worms' but I guess that goes with the territory.A pity it does not tell you the speed limit obtaining wherever you are travelling.

+ Does exactly what it's designed for & very easy to understand.Great slim design good size screen for those with bad eye sight like my hubby. Informative with bing noise for speed camera's etc... Very good point's of interest & info very good too. Great value for money at time of purchase. Bought the leather case too, it's handy no scratches on the screen whilst transporting about, fit's into handbag like an extra purse.

+ In my opinion absolutely superb......very stylish indeed, but with full practability. I found the accuracy astounding, together with ease of use. This was quite incredible to me, and something I was previously worried about as I am most certainly far from being a practical person when it comes to using electronic devices

- The only 'bad' point I would state is keeping the lead in the socket when on the windscreen mount. It does not seem to fit just as it should (mount point seems marginally too think)

- A minor negative point would be the ability to avoid traffic by instructing it to avoid certain areas or motorways. This can be done but you have to go into the options and routing preferences to do it, and the areas to avoid can't be deleted individually only all of them cleared at once. I don't think much attention has been paid to this functionality as they want you to buy the traffic receiver addon with which it will then re-route you around traffic automatically

- Not clear on the different ways of using the keyboard when entering an address. took me ages to find the easiest keyboard. Otherwise brillaint

+ My Navman S70 pinpoints my position within seconds of being switched on. I like the screen size @ 4.3" and the clear graphics.

- The battery doesn't seem to last 2 minutes so, if you are trying to put in friends and families postcodes etc, it has to be plugged in - I can't sit in my caravan and program in my next stop unless I have power available to the unit.

+ a great value for money sat nav, really easy to install and use, some of the mapping can be a little vague around where i live, but having said that, there are alot more units out there that are worse for more money.

- I would prefer more volume when connected via blue tooth, the mic would also pick up more if it were on the front.
