Ilias, Bournemouth

+ Cool lightweight design. Very attractive graphics (as will all Navman devices). Includes traffic updates module.

- Camera alerts is a con - 12-month subscription is not included with the device. Description on Navman site is misleading. Just a 12-month ACCESS to the pre-loaded camera alerts.
Tap-and-scroll needs improvement.
Battery only lasts an hour.

+ Super slim design, stylish hard-wearing metal case, easy to use, good visual and spoken directions.......ooooh I think I very much like it!

- Scrolling menu screen and information screens can be fiddly to operate at first, but if you're an i-phone user ,
you'll have no problem.I've found using the back of my finger(fingernail) the best way.

+ Seamless join of maps. You are told road names.

- You have to accept conditions every time you switch on. Boring

+ Style, design, size

- This was my 3rd Navman and easily the most difficult to use - so much so, in fact, that I gave it to my nephew who hasn't yet managed to crack it.

+ The NavMan just fits in the top pocket when out of the car.

- The Navman only logs a specific goto journey, I would have preferred the tracks to be always recorded

+ Good sized screen, clear maps and directions, full of functionality and the bluetooth handsfree connection to mobile phone is very good

- the screen operation by scrolling up and down is not very good, it works ok but takes a lot of getting used to.

Pete, Wellingborough , “Tow a caravan.”

+ Very clear display, both day and night. Lots of features. Easy to get the basics going.

- You have to agree to the disclaimer every time you use it - a real pain. The touch screen does not always react (I have largely overcome this problem by using a stylus from Nintendo DS) Some of the less used functions do need a bit of learning - it's not ever so intuitive.

+ Its very quick to pick up satelite signals The re-routing is quick if you decide to or accidentally go off the route it is taking you

- The touch screen is way to fiddley; quite often on the main menu you touch to select something but it will scroll the page down.
The unit seems to have an inability to hold a charge and randomly turns itself off even if it is plugged in
