+ Nice colour, pretty girly phone, very pleased at first.

- Have had this phone for 2 months and the keypad has worn out! The paint started chipping off the 5 key after 2 weeks!! The five key now will barley register when pushed. I know I text a lot but this seems very poor indeed to me!!!

+ Compact and good volume levels.

- Exterior front screen has cracked twice. Once when the phone was 3 days old and the next time 2 days after replacement. I've just left it with a cracked screen now because the warranty will not cover this kind of damage. Both times this happened the phone was in my jacket pocket and was not dropped etc.

- can't get a vodaphone signal very well in our area. very poor most of the time zero signal. is there anything to rectify this problem.

+ Small compact flip phone with reasonable camera and good size file storage with micro SD. Stylish and works well.

- Although better than they were Motorolas menus are still difficult to navigate around, not intuitive whenn compared to Nokia and Sony-Ericsson.

+ Great stylish phone, sturdy with great features. Camera / photo quality good. Battery life reasonable, even with blue tooth on constantly.

- When pressing messaging button I would like it to go straight to texting rather than having to go through a selection process.

+ The size and battery life are great. Mostly easy to use and intuitive. Once you turn off predictive text, then the it is good for texting. As a phone, it is a good phone.

- Some features are really annowing. If you want a phone for web browsing, then get something else this is hopeless and will tend to crash more often than not and the UI (user interface) for the web is hopeless. The contacts on the phone is good, but if you try to add a contact that has just called you it drops you by default into saving the contact on the SIM and this is quite frankly appalling. Added to this you are unable to copy the number and then paste it into the phone contact database. So despite the bad points, I still rate the phone as a good phone - it is basic however, but the design, size and battery life are the plus points.

- Too heavy, software is too slow, keypad is awful to use, texting is very slow, it takes an age to catch up with what I've written. If it were up to me I'd send the handset back and request a different one.

+ It was bought as a replacement phone for my lady friend and she is very pleased with how easy it is to use compared to her previous phone, and she is still learning about all it's features.

- No problem with the phone itself But unable to find a good (leather) case to keep it in instead of the pouch supplied?

- not well balanced for texing , as texing is a one handed affair and with a compact phone , holdig in one hand and texing with a slimphone presents a problem.

+ It looks good and is handy for the little phone pouches in bags, because it doesn't disappear into them

- NOT good to have to actually download sounds, screens and games, as there is very little selection for the first two and none for the games in the phone software. Or if there is, I couldn't find it.......
I had a Sagem previously, which had heaps to choose from off the phone itself, and I must admit it also carried a signal better; where I could use my phone anywhere in the house before, now I am forced to stand on a chair at the window and even then the signal is intermittent!

+ Camera is good, great to listen to my own music, most functions are the same as my other old motorola.

- Whilst most functions are the same as my other older motorola - there are some functions that you can no longer do.

+ Its design is sleek Good mp3 & the camera/video features are good

- A small hair line scratch appeared on the screen only 4 days after & the phone the has been well looked after. This seems to be a common fault.

+ Its looks good and very easy to use

- Not enough games and if you want to hide your number, you have to keep doing it on every call instead of having one feature that you can just set it to hide your number all the time

+ Good compact design flip phone nice and neat in the pocket.has many bits and bobs to keep you going

- The screen and the buttons are really small and made even more difficult to see by the fact that they are made from a shiny reflective material. The case is also shiny and looks really messy really quickly because all your fingerorints show

- When I first used this phone, I transfered my sim card and memory disc from my old phone to this one, and found that most of my files on the memory card were corrupted. There isn't much choice in music categories. Realtone or Funtone. With my last phone (Motorola V980), I also had the coice of playing music videos and full-track music. First few weeks, the signal wasn't very good eventhough, I purchased a signal booster, it was still coming up saying that there was no signal although I checked my old phone and there was.

+ I wanted a phone to feel like a traditional phone when talking this phone fitts perfectly for long chats.

- they arn't waterproof, I drowned my first K1 but loved it that much I got another!

+ I have had Motorola's before and the quality is great. The texts are easy to write and the screen is large enough to see clearly. The camera takes good pics too.

- I have put the keypad as the worst thing about this phone. That is mainly because I have long nails and find it difficult to press one key only. Having said that I have tried other mobiles and this keypad was easier to manage than those!

+ I like the Motorola phone size and shape so it fits comfortably in a shirt pocket, and it is quite easy to use for the main features.

- When in the car and using a bluetooth headset the screen going blank after a while and then taking time to come to life if you are receiving a call/text is a bit annoying. I also tried a couple of times to synchronise with my pc for contacts/calendar and was not 100% successful.

+ Looks great and is easy to use and pefect for me!

- It has a few "skins" to change the image of the phone but I could have done with some more as I get bored of the look of the phone quickly and like to keep changing things - but I believe you can purchase more so it's not really that much of a bad point!

+ Closure of the phone is a very good feature,as the user can put it in his pocket or wherever wthout accidentally pressing the keys which eliminates the need to lock the keypad.

- If the user has short stumpy fingers,which most men have,tend to press the wrong key and can be very annoying..

- Keyoad is already showing signs of wear - after 3 months! Battery needs charging quite often even though I don't use it for games etc

- menu range is somewhat poor trying to send a text to someone not in address book is a real pain also when texting it is very slow to respond

- Because the camera has been placed on the front of the phone, the pictures can look a little blurry, so you constantly wiping the front of the phone of fingerprints. Also, you don't get any software or cable to connect the phone to your pc with the phone.
