Motorola RAZR V3 Flip Phone mobile phone handset reviews and tariffs

+ I bought this phone for my wife. She wanted a small, simple to use phone with a clamshell format. She does not need fancy functions, just a reliable phone at a good price. The V3 fits the bill perfectly.

+ Buttons are easy to use, good navigation.

- Screen display not easy to use outside in sunshine.

+ ummmm not a lot the size and camera, number of text messages it holds

- switches it self of, blue tooth rubbish, keypad stuck when using pone book

+ Good solid feel to it. It's slim profile. Reasonable battery life. Good Bluetooth connection with MotoRolo H300 and H500 earpieces.

- Initial set up of the software could do with a less compicated guidance literature. Then the detailed explanations could do with being simplified.

+ I really like the overall look and feel of the product. It's quite the best mobile I've owned, and very easy to use (once I'd mastered the hang of it!).

- Most annoying thing is that I keep hitting the browser button by mistake. Also took a while to get used to the keypad - no "buttons" per se, just the skin but that's getting better with use. Also working out which does what in texting but then again I've never been expert at texting and it depends what you're used to.

+ Beautifully designed phone & dead easy to use.

- Screen difficult, not to say impossible to read in sunlight/strong daylight. (Maybe it's my eyes!)

- When texting i send the message by mistake when i want to delete something as the keys are the otherway round then the previous phones i have had.

+ Single USB connection for charging, PC connection etc. Big screen, lightweight handset.

- Confusing menu system, and not very intuitive. Battery sometimes completely discharges after being on charge - almost as if the software gets stuck.

+ Being a middle aged non technical man it took some time to find my way about the systems,with some help and practise,I now find it easy. The phone is compact but has everything you should need for communication of all sorts.

- I do find the screen hard to see in outside daylight.

- No memory - cant store anything large enough to be any use....

+ Easy to download your pics and music to computer and vice-versa (as long as you got usb cable and software) nice hi res pics and video good too.You can even have your own animated screensaver using gif format.Easy to get to know phone.

- keypad is flat and sometimes does not feel like you have actually pressed a key,bought a pink v3 for my wife and it came with software and usb cable,bought the exact same v3 for myself (in black) and it didn't come with cable or software also the pink one has different display settings. Predictive text (where it tries to guess what your going to type before you type it,can be a little annoying but is ok some of the time.

- it is a little bigger that the rest of the Razr family, but you get so much more. Enhancements in Moto menu system do take a little time to get used to

- Unreliable. Slow to process commands. Low Battery Life. No poassword protect available or almost impossible to find where this is located.

+ It looks good. The screen is protected as it's a flip phone. I have one on contract and got this for my husband because the numbers are not too small and he doesn't hit another key when he's trying to dial a number

+ I have had several of these phones and love the sleek design only problem is i keep loosing them
for me the best flip phone on the market by far makes a change from accidently making a call with the phone in your pocket even when other phones are looked i allways seem to be able to unlock them and call the first person on my contact list but never with the V3

- Insufficient memory

+ Very slim and easy to use. Not complicated and good at being a phone.

- Little memory for photos and videos. However, it is supplied with PC software and leads which make transferring easy!

+ Overall Ithnk the phone is to use, looks good and has great sound :

- the bad thing is that I am not technical so have problems with all the features

+ The Motorola V3 is very easy to operate with one hand. It has a large screen which is an advantage as your eye sight deteriorates with age. It takes very clear pictures although I have not attempted to download onto a computer.

- This is my second V3. The first one had a problem with the screen. I think my grandson may have used it as a hammer. Perhaps it should have stood up to that kind of treatment. A bit fragile when open. Sync with my car hands free system is a bit of a fiddle. Not as quick as my last V3.

- the flip design is very weak which led to us having to purchase this replacement, we went for the same make and model as really liked the phone but breaks easily at the smallest amount of pressure, not very robust.

+ Really like this phone, it is neat and easy to use and the screen is a good size and clear to read. Haven't used many of the features yet so cannot really rate them

- It creaks when it is opened. The 3G coverage is not good. The battery life is rubbish compared to other make phones i have had in the past (Sony Ericcsson, Nokia).

+ It is slim enough to put in any bag and the flip screen prevents the phone from getting scratched.

- The phone won't last very long. Picture taking quality degrades with time and there is a buzzing/ rattling sound when making calls after 2-3months.

+ I find the phone is very user friendly and is a good overall product. Also, the battery life is quite long. Overall I'm very happy with it.

+ It is small, neat and compact. It was a remarkably large screen for its size, it is easy to programme and set up. Clear and loud ringtone.

+ Really like it, it's pretty, light and thin. Nice buttons and easy to use. I like the fact it's got two screens!

+ This phone was a reasonable price for my 12 year old daughter, nice colour, has everything she wanted on it

- She only had it a couple of weeks and the pin on the flip broke and I had to send it back to have it repaired

+ It's easy to use, and has good camera quality. It also has a good model and you change the settings to your liking.

- It can also be a struggle to record your "busy tone", however I have much to learn about The Motorola Razor.
One of the down sides is that the volume can be quite dim, and sometimes I cannot comprehend what is being said.

+ It is the best designed mobile phone their is . Large bright screen , Good sized key pad , fold away flat design, its a phone you wont forget to take with you . Its iconic . Its the ultimate in evolution , some phones have more technology , but it doesn't make them any better . Recommended one to my wife and mother and they both love them .
