This machine lifts the dog hairs really well. Good size dust collection which means I have to empty it less often.
Not too noisy (my last vacuum was horrendous)
-
If you trying to vacuum a wooden floor with mats on it. The head of the vacuum doesn't glide easily over unto the mat, you need to physically lift it up. (my last vacuum cleaner just went over the mats no problem) But really a very minor irration.

It's compact, lightweight, easy to use and powerful. Very happy with it. Only minus point is the difficulty unattaching the pipe when finished, I find it a bit of a struggle but otherwise a great product. I liked it so much I bought my mum one

As you can see i am very pleased so far with my vacuum, so i can only add that i would certainly reccomend it. The feature wich turns off the brush when cleaning vynil's and wood floor's so it dose'nt scratch the floor and yet looses no perfomance is good.

Everything - after having wasted loads of money on hoovers - good old
Morphy Richards has kept me happy every time. I have two of their hoovers and the one before that I gave away still working.
-
Not much just that hose falls out of holder when not in use - not keen on the shape of the stair hose but I use one from the old machine.

It has a very long lead; the brush stops rotating when in the upright position; you can turn the rotating brush off for when you want to go over laminate floors; good suction; the head is thin so can get under small areas;
-
The hose is not permanently connected to the vacuum so it is not easy to switch between the 2 ways of cleaning. You have to stop and manually insert the hose to the hoover.

Vacuum Cleaner Buyers Guide
Manufacturer's Description
Morphy Richards PerformAir Profile Family & Pets bagless upright is supplied with an Eco friendly 1000w motor that delivers the same performance as a 2000w product. This product allows you to save energy and reduce running costs without compromising on performance. Supplied with a newly developed hair and stair tool, this is a fantastic vaccuum for any family household or pet owner.
1000w
An environmentally friendly motor that delivers the same performance as a 2000w model
Click to clean filter
By rotating the dial on the canister, the filter can be cleaned before emptying, maintaining performance and prolonging the cleaner’s life
HEPA filtration
Traps and retains microscopic particles including pollen
4.2 litre dust canister
Huge capacity means less frequent emptying
2nd brush bar motor
A powered brush bar enables better pick-up of pet hairs from carpet and it can be turned off to prevent scratches on hard floors
Unique pivot point
The pivot point is a lot further back on the floorhead than on most conventional vacuums. This allows the floorhead to get further under furniture for a deeper clean
Hair & Stair tool
This tool is fantastic for cleaning the stairs, and when the hair attachment is added it provides superior pet and human hair pick-up
Central pick-up
The suction hose is located in the centre of the floorhead. This allows even suction all the way across the floorhead, which isn’t possible on a lot of competitor models that have side suction.
