Good Simple coffee machine. No fancy complicated bits, we didn't even have to read the instructions! Just switch it on and get lovely coffee. Easy to clean. and great value.

easy to program. nice look. keeps coffee hot.can program machine so that you wake up to fresh hot coffee.

can be awkward to pour water in the back. turns off after 2 hours (would rather be able to adjust turning off time) can easily hit the on/off button when filling up the water when programming (but this can be cancelled very easily too).

It was very good value for money and the jug comes apart for very easy cleaning.

It's quite difficult to pour the water in using the jug - it tends to spill as the gap in which to pour it is quite small and the lid of the machine tends to get in the way somewhat.

Very straightforward and no no nosense. Large capacity. Can re-heat letover cofee in 5 min to a fairly hot temperature. Filter area is large enough to fit in the provided permanent filter as well as paper filters if prefered

Boxy and not at all pretty. Also there is a huge promotional sticker on the stainless steel part in the front. I tried taking if off with a sponge, by soaking it in hot water, even used nail polish remover to get the glue off - nightmare! The surface ended up quite scatched. What are they thinking, gluing it on with super-duper strength glue?

Lid closes well (unlike my last kettle which never seemed secure). Boils reasonably quickly and can be reboiled again soon afterwards(again, unlike my last kettle which required leaving for some time)

makes coffee quickly. timer facility is useful. not too bulky.

not so easy to fill, especially if under top cupboards, best to overfill the jug and use the measure on the machine so as to avoid spills. Coffee is hotter if left on the hotplate for a while if making small quantities.

The timer enables you to wake up to a cup of coffee in the morning

It turns itself off after 2 hours. When lifting the lid to put in the coffee and water you have to be careful as there is a lot of condensation on the underside which runs down the back of the machine. Obviously the designer was aware of this as there is a lip to catch the excess water. Unfortunately this does not work very effectively.

should have made the water resevoir alittle easier to fill, i usually have to wipe up abit after filling... its in a u shape at the back behind the filter basket, so pouring water acurately is sometimes a bit tricky.

The whole lid lifts up to access the filter section and the water section. I don't like the models where the filter section hinges outwards.
The water drops on to the coffee from the centre through several holes and not from the side or through only one hole. Altogether it is so easy and makes a wonderful cup of coffee.

You have to take care filling the water tank. It was supplied with a huge ugly sticker on the nice brushed aluminium case - took some time to get rid of the adhesive marks.

After buying two really naff coffee makers we decided to spend a smidge more and get a brand name. Coffee is very important to us and we are absolutely delighted with this one - the programming feature is a huge bonus as you can get up in the morning and fresh coffee is readily available! Filling it a bit fiddly but you get used to it.

Only keeps it hot for 2 hours. If you made a large jug, if you don't finish it within 2 hours its a waste. My husband likes it, he works from home and likes to keep coffee on the go, but has to make it fresh every 2 hours.

all good, especially the timer to make the coffee in the morning, bar the following bad points...

when you open the box it has this MASSIVE sticker stuck on the front of the machine and its one of those that leaves this horrible sticky residue which after ages cleaning leaves, if you like, a shadow of glue that just wont come off.
the other bad point for me is that the heating element dose not get hot enough which means you have to microwave your coffee for about 45 sec every time - i know coffee burns easy and it shouldn't be to hot and that is taking into consideration in this criticism.
however once you've gotten use to that it really is not a bad machine and for the price you really cant complain

Very easy to set for morning coffee. Easy to clean and fill, although filler gap could be a little larger to save some spillage on worktop when filling. I fill with coffee pot provided but 8 cups on that is not same on coffee machine, but a few times of filling and you learn how much water to put for your needs. Altogether a nice easy to use coffee maker, keeps hot and smells gorgeous when brewing.
