+ It is certainly very quiet, if that is your priority. It seems to wash well, with flexibility of programmes eg fractions of load weighed etc. There is a good table in the instructions showing the various features of different settings

- The control panel and the instructions are not easy to understand. My technocrat husband agrees and puts it down to poor translation. I have wasted far too much valuable time standing in front of it scratching my head in frustration

+ It is so quiet and spins amazingly well. The options are easy to use and very clear. It is a good strong design and overall I am very happy with my choice.

+ Many good points - delay start feature means that the washing can be completed ready to hang out or dry; minimum iron and end of programme turn over are excellent; minimum use of detergent is to be recommended.. The handbook is comprehensive and easy to follow.

+ One of the mail reasons I bought this product was for the Environmental features - saves on water, energy and washing powder as it uses exactly the right amount for the size of the load. I also like the way you can adjust the duration of the cycles.

Am impressed with the quality of cleaning my clothes look so much cleaner. Need a new vacuum soon and plan on a Miele one now as impressed with this brand. Yes expensive but hoping this will last alot longer than the cheap models I have previously used.

- Had some problems on installation with hoses reaching. Miele do sell an extension kit. Dryer does not remove as much cat fur as my old one.

+ Very good overall - very well finished, the inside light is a good idea though it switches off when it gets going. Really do appreciate the low noise level - amazing. The 1600 high speed spin is also well worth having to save on tumble dryer costs and time. Not had it long though and hence only based on about 4 washes.

- tumbler appears possibly a bit slow and I would prefer the option of not having a water cooled condenser to save water and also to pump nice warm moist heat into my non-centrally heated hovel! The load amount indicator is a good idea but the detergent level indicator does not seem to work as expected - it may be me though as I have not yet had it very long and only read manuals when all else fails.

Awesome machine. Would reccomend to anyone. Got rid of a 2yr old hotpoint WD860 which was noisy, made holes in the clothes and was crap.

As it is a condenser dryer, drying takes longer than using a dedicated, vented dryer. You also need to compromise between dryness and creasing of clothes, but a good balance can be achieved!

There is a good range of useful programs for different types of clothes.
The build quality can't be beaten, the best machine you can buy.

- A bit difficult to lock machine door, a bit tight - but not too bad...Still like the washing machine a lot! Quetest machine ever.

+ Bought Miele again. We had previous model which lasted 20 years with only 2 minor problems in that time so reliable. Very low noise level, energy efficient, delayed start etc. What more could you want

Excellent cleaning and drying functions clothes come out fresh clean and the varying intensity of wash depending on how dirty means you don't have to use as much energy and water every time you wash.

- I haven't found any at all to be honest, cracking machine that does a damn good job. If you were really really picky you could say that it should be able to dry more weight but then again i'm not a washing machine engineer and cannot really quibble.

+ its so quite you sometimes forget its actually on, it has so many options that it deos take a while to get used to them but like most things once you have established the essentials there is time to review other options later. the drying cycle is great the washing is less creased and it keeps moving until you unlaod the machine which is great

- essentially seems very expensive but so far I would agree with you get what you pay for.

+ Is very quiet, the drying is also excellent, it's great that we can wash quietly in our little house without threat of losing our fillings when it goes into spin cycle! We've only had it for a month but it's obviously an absolute top-quality product and if it lasts the estimated 10 years then it will actually be a bargain to boot!
