+ I had hovered my carpet with my old cleaner but when I hoovered with my new Miel i almost filled the bag showing how much dirt was trapped in my floors. It is brilliant, light, amazing suction and easy to use.

+ Fantastic suction and brilliant at picking up cat hairs. This Miele was replacing a Dyson and I now wish I'd done it sooner. Having the tools stored on top of the cylinder is a really handy feature and the longer length of the cable is good. Also a very quiet cleaner.

Excellent all round cleaning and not too heavy. Very good suction power. Easier to use than my old Dyson upright-no back strain when cleaning stairs due to 'pull-back' from the hose which used to be really annoying. Great for hard to reach places like under bed frames, edges and corners.
Price was great and 5-year guarantee a good selling point.
- Not really a bad point, but it does haver a small dust bag and will need to be changed quite frequently.

+ Am particularly happy with the turbobrush and the suction power...the pile is lifted right up
- the standard head is quite hard to push back and forward on a deeper piled carpet..so i always use the turbo brush which is excellent and glides along

+ My husband described this hoover perfectly. He said it was that powerful it sucked up the furniture, and the colour on the floor. I LOVE hoovering now (don't tell him that) because the carpet looks brand new afterwards. The storage is great and it fits in our cupboard no problem. The attachments are great for the car. The cable winder saves on time and energy, although make sure you don't loose your foot as it winds in ;-).
- The pole is short, so if you are over 5"3, prepare to bend down more. This sounds really wierd, but honestly, the metal pole that you use to push the head around is pretty short. The cable is not as long as my last hoover, so I have to unplug half way through, but this is only as issue if you have a) a large area to cover, or b) you do not want to unplug.
