- the standard head is quite hard to push back and forward on a deeper piled carpet..so i always use the turbo brush which is excellent and glides along

+ Fantastic suction and brilliant at picking up cat hairs. This Miele was replacing a Dyson and I now wish I'd done it sooner. Having the tools stored on top of the cylinder is a really handy feature and the longer length of the cable is good. Also a very quiet cleaner.

- Expensive

+ Excellent all round cleaning and not too heavy. Very good suction power. Easier to use than my old Dyson upright-no back strain when cleaning stairs due to 'pull-back' from the hose which used to be really annoying. Great for hard to reach places like under bed frames, edges and corners.
Price was great and 5-year guarantee a good selling point.

- Not really a bad point, but it does haver a small dust bag and will need to be changed quite frequently.

+ Better designed than our oud one, the cord tidy is helpfull. The varying powers are usefull and it is light to move about as you are vacuuming.

+ Extending suction tube is great for taller people and the suction performance is brilliant

+ My rugs are brighter and clearly cleaner . Can find attachments easily and because of it being fairly compact it stores better than my previous upright cleaner.

- Find it a bit cumbersome and heavy to carry upstairs but its no great deal.

+ I had hovered my carpet with my old cleaner but when I hoovered with my new Miel i almost filled the bag showing how much dirt was trapped in my floors. It is brilliant, light, amazing suction and easy to use.
