+ very quiet compared to our old fridge freezer, it looks good, like the wine holder

Massive capacity in fridge, deep door shelves really free up space in the main compartment.
The 'fan' and 'super cool' functions really do help when your fridge is full up.
Completelt silent.
I carried out a lot of research when buying my new fridge and this was easily the best of it's type and size and an absolute bargain at the price I paid for it.
This Miele makes my previous top of the range Bosch seem cheap and nasty.
I will definitely buy Miele again.

+ massive fridge, alarm for fridge and freezer when door left open for more than 1 min, bottle rack, glass shelves - easy to clean, dials in the freezer to remind when food was put in, digital temperature displays on the inside of fridge in degrees Celsius, comfortable opening of fridge and freezer with handle

- visible fingerprints when touching the stainless steel finish on the outside with dirty or wet hands so need to clean often

+ Well laid out, easy to alter shelf configuration. Controls easy to use and it's a good feature that the controls and display are concealed by the fridge door when it's closed.

- Only two gripes : [1] can't adjust the support feet sufficiently to make the appliance level (it's not the floor!); [2] there is quite a loud vibration noise when the circulating fan in the freezer compartment is running which so far I haven't been able to stop.

+ Lovely Big solid fridge, well designed, the salad drawers and door compartments are much stronger than in a standard fridge. Well worth paying a bit extra for.

+ It looks very nice in my kitchen and it has been great for stroing all the Christmas food.

- It needs constant cleaning on the outside because it shows every finger mark. The fridge door swings open too wide. It beeps annoyingly after being open for just a short while.

+ Good quality and great build. This is one solid machine. Shelving is great in the fridge and the holders have metal supports so no breaking plastic here. Shelf configuration is great. Handles are solid and also stop you marking the stainless steel with finger prints. Use the included stainless steel protection polish, it will take a while to do but offers protection and looks fantastic afterwards.
It has a commanding look in the kitchen and everyone comments on it. Well worth the money.

- The compressor can be quite noisy when running, this is not contant.
It's a lot taller than you think! - not a bad point but you might have to tilt it to get it through your internal doors.

+ I'd read previous reviews which said the Miele KFN8762 was noisy in operation and can only conclude they must have been reviewing a different 'fridge! The one I've got is whisper quiet in operation, and in fact, were it not for the interior light and digital temperature readouts you might think it wasn't turned on!
