+ Quiet

- The bottom tray doesn't fit large dinner plates

+ The seperate cutlery tray is superb.

- The cycle times are protracted, however, the quality of the wash is great.

+ Separate cutlery tray leaves more space in body of machine for dishes - so overall max load is greater.

- Length of programmes - several over 2 hours long. (But if you want the best wash maybe it takes longer!).

+ Excellent. The drawer at the top for cutlery frees up more space beneath for larger objects, such as pans. Some of the plate racks fold down, for if you have more pans and less plates. Utensil racks on the sides also fold away to allow more room for bigger items. Loads of settings, nothing comes out dirty-no need to pre rinse. Extremely quiet. Very clear instruction book.

- I haven't found anything bad about it. I'm very pleased.

- The stacking trays/drawers aren't quite as good at fitting plates and cutlery into as our last dishwasher.

- On one or two occasions, there has been some food residue - not badly and not often (and it may be bad stacking!)

- The bottom tray can sometimes slide back into the machine while loading, it does not have a 'stop-bump' for it in the door. Something that Miele could easily resolve?

+ Love the cutlery tray it leaves so much extra space and easier to unload the cuttley once you have got used to it. Three rotaing arms cleans the dishes more effectively.

- You have to open the door when the cycle has finished or the grocery gets wet again due to condensation

- Minor gripe is door requires a good push to close.

- Bit of a chore setting up for water hardness (have to telephone local water board for local reading) but once set don't have to do it again.

+ Loads of room, seem to be able to get more in than in my old machine. Also love the cutlery rack at the top. Much easier to load and unload, and seems to get things cleaner.

+ Excellent cutlery arrangement - cleans really well - rotor arms do not block - inside bottom of door does not get greasy - easy salt filling

+ Extremely quiet. Cleans well especially on glassware. Cutlery cleans well in the tray

- Not so good on drying. All the saucepans need to be dried by hand on removal from the machine. Stacking the machine is awkward - our previous machine (a Hotpoint!) took many more pans and large items.

+ Noise level is very low. Even though made of steel seems to be lighter than our previous Miele.

- Different models have different cutlery trays or cutlery baskets. If I had known this model did not have a cutlery basket but only a sliding cutlery tray I would chosen another model with cutlery basket. The sliding cutlery tray on the top is not so practical for inserting and removing cutlery.

+ Solid feel, great cutlery tray, very flexible loading arrangements (tall glasses go in), easily adaptable. Washes well with less than recommended soap, economy setting washes very well. Practically silent compared to Bosch we had before. Even fast setting washes well.

- Costs a lot

+ Excellent and very well-built, great design (aside from stem glasses, below), nice and quiet and good cleaning and drying

- It's difficult to load long-stem glasses - there just doesn't seem to be a logical place for them.

+ Excels on all fronts, extremely quiet, unique in the sense it has a cutlery tray rather than a basket, enabling more room for dishes and producing sparkling results.

- wish it had a rinse and hold button. there is 6 in our family and quite often i do more than one load a day. if it happens that the half load is overnight then the food does tend to dry on the plates.

- bad design of loading for bowls and cups. many items chipped in daily use although previous miele model was excellent and no problems for years.

+ The separate tray for cutlery is fantastic. It is unbelievably quiet and once we got used to the different programmes it works really well. A terrific dishwasher and energy efficient, uses only half the water of our previous dishwasher.

+ This is only the 4th disnwasher I have purchased in 41 years, the previous 3 were all Miele lasting at least 11 years of hard work each. This one is too new to comment on yet, but i expect it to be just as good and it is even quieter than its predecessor

+ Extremely quiet in operation. Particularly like the rinse aid and salt indicators. Better capacity than we expected. Excellent cutlery tray which is very different to our previous model. Built in water leak indicator was a big factor in making this purchase.

- The door doesn't stay down unless the tray is on it with some items in it. It's too sprung loaded!
