The only bad point is that the handle is too short another piece to extend it would make vaccuming easier. I am only 5ft so I don't know how taller people would manage. It gives you back ache!

At 2200 watts it picks EVERYTHING up, long tube length & 10m operating radius, without doubt the best by far on the market.

The screws on the turbo brush to remove the brush itself are plastic they would last a lot longer if made of metal.

Excellent - "does everything it says on the tin!" Was recommended this product by a colleague when I was moaning about poor performance of my current cleaner. Looked at other reviews on-line and seemed to be a good product. Having purchased it, would recommend to anyone. It's suction power is great, there are several different settings for various requirements eg can clean the curtains. It is also great for cleaning out the car, previous cleaner had a very long rigid pole that was totally useless for flexible cleaning. The Turbo cleaning brushes thoroughly do their job; our stairs get a lot of traffic but cleaning with the small turbo brush really lifts all the dirt. Took old cleaner to tip and haven't looked back.....

This machine is quiet yet powerful. It gets pet hair up from the carpets so easily. A little maintenance (cutting the pet hair from the brushes) is required, but small price to pay - hence a positive remark. The cable return is great on the new machine and I hope it carries on working for many years, else this would become a bad point as it cannot be reeled in manually.
-
The small cleaning head does not have a clip to detach it easily. Brute force is required to remove it.

Very good performance, picks up everything including all dog hairs completely, even from clingy carpets. Easy to move around and reach tricky corners. Indicators are simple and extra tools are easy to use and access. Handle and tube easy to unlock and tube extends easily. Not too noisy. Electrical cord fairly long and rewind good.
-
Bags can be expensive, depends how much you use it. Cumbersome to carry upstairs and although the tube is telescopic and can easily be removed from the base unit, it still takes up some space when storing.

Does exactly what it says, picks up cat hairs with ease. This is the second one of these we have owned, the first one failed after 8 years of faithful service. There have been some minor improvements between the two machines, it now has a 3 piece adjustable solid section, and 2 more locations to clip the foot into for storage
-
The rotary foot does eventually clog when long hairs get wrapped around the rotary brush (about 4 times a year), but the foot is designed to disassemble easily, and 10 minutes with a sharp knife sorts it out.

Good for mixed flooring - i.e. some carpets, some wooden floors. Easy to transfer from one to other. Great for cleaning up pet hair.
-
I was attracted to this vacuum cleaner by its power rating but I find the suction is too great and I am constantly adjusting from higher suction to lower as it is just too difficult to use at high setting, especially on carpets. This has been a disappointment and shows that it is not always important to have such high power in a cleaner.

I bought the cat and dog after my dyson burnt itself out and have been really amazed at how clean my carpets are, they actually look like I have just had them cleaned. The turbo brush is amazing as it really seperates the dirt in the carpet for ease of suction. There are about 5 different suction strengths and it is very portable to use. There are cheaper models around but this one is well worth the money.

Does a superb job of hoovering, even better at picking up dog hair than expected. Easy to manoeuvre, the telescopic pole is great and very quick to adjust. The fittings supplied mean this is perfect for homes with a variety of surfaces. I am especially delighted with the performance of the large and small turbo brushes on my heavy traffic areas; my previous vacuum didn't come near the standard of cleaning offered by the Miele Cat and Dog. The power of this vacuum means that hoovering is so much quicker. The main attachment is suitable for hard and carpeted floors and cleans both wood, lino and carpeted floors with ease and speed. Head attachments are stowed away in the body of the hoover. At first I was sceptical of returning to a bagged vacuum but the pick up power is so much better than previous expensive bagless models by other brands.

Brilliant hoover, best we've ever had for picking up pet hairs. Black Lab + cream carpet = lots of hairs showing, this hoover picks them all up with little effort required by the user. We got 3 different 'heads' with the hoover, the Cat & Dog one is the one we mainly use, although the other 2 are equally as good. Easy to change the bag, tools are within a compartment on top of the hoover and easy to get to and it's not as heavy as some of the uprights that we've had. I would highly recommend this hoover to anyone who has a pet.

suction adaptions, extra long tube for tall people. . This one seems a lot more quieter then the other one i had and smaller in size too i am sure...... I am not much of a vac tools user so can't say much on that. I prefer to have the few good quality basics and leave the fancy bits to the cheaper makes. I believe in buying the best i can afford as in the long run it pays to even if i have to save up to pay for it.
-
cost of bags. God I need to take out a mortgage, not having two pence to count to my name.
The lower end tube that joins in to the brush head is very stiff to pull out, painfully more so as i have arthitic hands. Would love to have longer cord. I am also hoping the plastic bits last longer then they did on my old Cand D. That is the achilies heel you need to concentrate on now. My old machine was still running fine, but so many bits broken off, like lid twanging up all the time and bad catch not lasting, tube join at top cracked.and lots more that made it not worth while replacing even thought only about 6-7 years old just in case the engine went then.
