+ Easy to use. Fairly quiet compared to other cleaners. Very good range of brushes to choose from for all types of floor and excellent turbo head for carpets as well.

+ Almost makes vacuuming a pleasure...almost... Good range of attachments and really smooth and easy to use.

- Shame the attachments don't fit on the telescopic extension pipe, e.g. it would be good to fit the dusting brush on so you can reach places like the corners of the ceilings to get those nasty cobwebs!

+ Picks up everything right to the edge of carpets. Easy to move around. Loads of cable which maakes it easy to clean the stairs.

+ Very powerful, brilliant on laminate floors. On carpets almost too strong as the enormous suction makes it difficult to manoeuvre, however OK when you get used to it.

- It is probably me just getting used to itas we have always had upright vacuum cleaners before, but I do find it gives me backache using it. Probably the length of the hose that I can't get used to.

- I have had a miele before but the power of the particular machine is nothing like my previous machine for some reason

+ So easy to use and makes vacuuming a pleasure. Light and picks up straight away so jobs take much less time. Particularly like the way the head and pipe hook on to the body of the machine. Good suction even on less powerful rug settings. Hard floor head is very manouverable and does a good job.

- Would be good if it were easier to get the bags, say in the supermarkets.

+ really quiet, the suction is excellent really feels like the carpet is getting a thorough clean. Miele has a good reputation anyway have had miele washing machine now for 8 years and still washes brilliant, Miele microwave which is fab so had to buy my first vacum and wish now i had bought one earlier. Just got rid of dyson and all i can say is good riddance!
