Light and glides easily; quieter than any other vacuum cleaner I have used; exhaust is on top of machine instead of back, so air does not disperse dust etc. around the floor behind you, the extension pipe/hose is slightly longer than most so I don't have to bend over so much when I use it, and it has suction like no other! Because the bag is disposed of when full, the inside of the vacuum cleaner is as clean as when I first bought it.

Very good for wooden floors and tiles. I have three dogs so have lots of hair and dirt to hoover especially this time of year. Leaves virtually no grit or dirt behind. First bagged hoover I have purchased for sometime (have been through various bagless models including Dyson) and have been impressed. Also, it has been the first cylinder hoover I have ever bought.

Not as easy to use for carpets as an upright. Benificial to invest in a turbo brush, but even without does a good job of picking up pet hairs etc.

Lightweight robust and compact. Elderly ladies can carry this upstairs with no diffculty. My daughter and stepdaughter also have \Miele vacs, theblack model and the red cat & dog model. The latter is used by my stepdaughter on her laminate floors and she loves it. The casing remains lovely and shiny and gleams as if new even after daily use for the last 6 months.

Small and Light and very easy to move around in any direction on 3 ball type castors. Very well made product and has a feel of quality. All fittings lock in place so tools don't fall off in use. Very quiet operation even on most powerful setting. Incredible suction and works brilliantly on Hardwood flooring / Laminate and carpets. Long electrical cord gives plenty of flexibility without needing to keep unplugging and moving sockets. Hard to get excited about a cleaner but by far the best Vacuum i've ever bought or used.

My carpets have never been sucked so hard!! It looks nice too.

Bag fills quickly. . . . but this could be due to the heavy duty suction finding dirt where prviously i thought there was none.

Poor at picking up pet hair from carpet - it tends to bunch together on the carpet rather than be sucked up.

Found it required too much effort to use on carpets but prefer upright anyway for that job. The bag is small so fills up very quickly and it is also quite expensive.

Long main pipe from the hose is long providing a good reach, the fittings come off easily, excellent for picking up cat hair even without a turbo brush. Light and portable. Doesn't overheat like other vacuum cleaners we have had in the past.

The variety of strengths you can adjust it to, and the suction power - carpets are alot cleaner than standard upright Hoovers.

You have to take the Hoover apart instead of leaving it as it is with all attachments, to be able to fit it into a small cupboard space.

It's light and compact. It deals with dog hair very efficiently without the need for a turbo brush. In fact I don't think my carpets have ever looked cleaner. It's much quieter than my last vacuum cleaner and I like the fact that the power is variable.

The filter doesn't remove odours (ie dog!) and the manual says it is not possible to put a deodoriser in the dust bag.

It's a terrific cleaner! The suction remains excellent even when the bag becomes full. It's lightweight and easy to carry.

This is a fantastic little vacuum cleaner. It's great on hard-floors and carpets alike. Light and compact with clever slots to store the tubing upright in the cupboard and for transit between rooms. It also has different suction settings so you can use it on curtains and rugs too without it trying to suck them in! This is a bagged cleaner which I personally prefer as you don't have to deal with a cloud of dust when emptying. This product was given a great rating by online reviews which prompted our purchase and so far it has not disappointed in any way. Highly recommended.

I haven't had this hoover for long, but so far it's the best hoover I've ever had! The suction is excellent, the brush sticks really close to the carpet, and the small hoover tools are very useful indeed. Also it's not too noisy which is great as my toddler hated my other noisy hoover. I am delighted with it. And Go Electrical were really helpful, I actually got through to a person on the phone straight away.

The main body of the hoover blows out hot air, but if you stand beside, in front of or behind the hoover it won't blow in your face.

This is a great vacuum cleaner! The suction is very strong and it picks up pretty much everything. Other vacuums I have used aren't able to pick up hair, instead it gathers it into piles on the carpet, but this sucks it all up. Would highly recommend it.

Picks up pet hair really well. Attachments help clean stairs very well.

It's a pain maneuvering sometimes. Bags fill up quite quick.

This is my 4th miele hoover and I love it because it is lighter than the others. The plug doesn't pull out the wall as easily as the last one and I never used all the brushes in the old one so I am glad I don't have to carry them around. I love the gold colour.

I shouldn't be on my 4th miele in 14 years but I do alot of hoovering!!!! I was unlucky with the last it didn't last two years. Otherwise they are great.

The only bad thing that I can possibly comment about are the bags could work out a bit expensive.

Compact, agile, and very efficient at cleaning, even on carpets. Can be powerful enough to lift the carpet up! Also nice system for holding hand tools on the tube, and slots on the unit for holding the tube when not in use.

compactness means a small dust bag, though don't know how expensive these are.
