+ Good design and a great building block for Meccano in the future. Teaches good basic skills which are sometimes overlooked in the later sets
- Could do with more than one sets

+ Once the robot was built my six year old son had great fun with it. Easy to follow instructions for someone older.Brilliant box, much better than the usual cardboard ones. Lots of things to be made but only one at a time.
- No way could a younger child assemble this. (box says years 4+). If a small piece gets lost you can't make the items.

- some ofthe designs a little difficult to follow and occassionally you couldn't tighten bolts because it was designed awkwardly
