Lightening Storm McQueen Car

+ My son loves all things Pixar's movie, 'Cars,' so this product had a lot going for it before it was even out of the packaging. Initailly, I was a bit apprehensive about the plastic 'torpedoes/darts' that shoot out from under each wing, but on this, day two of possession, no eyes have been lost (!) namely because the 'torpedoes/darts' don't have much velocity.

- I mentioned the darts don't have much velocity, but I'm thinking short distances can make up for that...I make a point of keeping an eye on the state of play when other children are about. All in all, I'd say the toy seems to be great value for money.

+ My son is mad about Lighting McQueen and this is his favourite toy. He enjoys playing with it as both a racing car and an aeroplane. The sound effects were an added bonus.

+ Great looking, good firing action with bombs and torpedo.

- Difficult to lift rear spoiler, jammed fingers several times. Wings do not fold in easily, I have to help which puts him off playing with it.

- Wings didnt stay shut and missiles kept popping out

- The misiles only went in one way. My son did not realise this and put them in upside down (this can easily be done) Resulting in the misiles not working, thus breaking it on the first day. The price was to much considering how little it actually did. Also its not very easy to get the wings to come out and you have to hold it in a particular place or it will not work propley so for little hands its very difficult.

+ This was promised to my toddler as a treat for successfully using the potty for a week. He specifically asked for it as he loves Cars, he loves it and plays with it for hours. He most certainly is over the moon with it

- A little fiddly for a toddler to fold the wings in and to reload the rockets

+ The toy does exactly what it says it does, exactly looks like the car and my little one has had hours of fun playing with it.

- The wings are a little difficult to put in, but after a couple of tries it does eventually go back into place

+ will keep my little one happy and quite for a while

- not much educational value to it but i'm sure my four year old isn't too bothered about that

+ very durable, good value for money

- the wings are quiet stiff to open for a little one

+ Good sturdy toy gives hours of fun to a Disney Cars fan.

- BOUGHT FOR A 4 YEAR OLD BUT A BIT TO FIDDLY TO CONVERT BY HIMSELF BUT GAVE HOURS OF FUN NEVERTHELESS.
