+ It looks 'classy' and works well - very good price, too.

- It's a top loader and has to be taken out of its 'slot' in my unit and put somewhere where the lid will open without constraint so it can't be permanently linked via the scart defeating the object of having everything linked together. I would not have bought if I'd known it did not have a slide-out tray.

+ Cheap and cheerful. I just have a small portable tv and the picture and sound are perfect for it. Multi-region with a code too so you can save even more by importing dvds.

- Makes a slight whirring noise while playing but pumping up the volume drowns that out.

+ It is very simple to use and does the basics if that's what you require. Good size fit almost anywhere and good colour.

- Design not very eye catching and the remote control is a different colour.

+ Its small, and a good size. It also helps that it is a mutli-region dvd player. The sound and picture quality is nothing to complain about.

- It has no screen, so you can view how far into the film you are, also there is no memory function, so if you turn the dvd player off, it wont remember whereabouts you are into the film. Also when there is subtitles on it sometimes distorts the picture.
