+ Solid, extremely light (for the price and how solid it is). could be quicker to setup when using full height (but then so are most tripods). I have a cupboard full of tripods that for various reasons just dont quite cut the mustard. However, this one is great and I will not be buying another tripod.

+ Lightweight! I do a lot of backpacking with my camera, hence my back loves this tripod.

- Not so good for heavier cameras. My EOS 30D / 10-22mm combination is probably at the upper end of what it can handle... Not even going to try my Bronica Medium format! The locking plate also seems a little small to me.

+ Very light yet sturdy, quality build.

- Only a little niggle, but the tightening 'lever' that is built into the handle can work loose just a fraction too easily. But it is tolerable!

+ Overall the tripod works wonderfully, the legs slide out without any real resistance and then click strudily and securely into place wherever needed. The joystick head allows for exact framing without needing to work 2 or 3 seperate points on a tripod head and of course works in any direction as opposed to setting just pan or tilt. Also the tripod is incredibly light and is easily carried in bag or hand.

- Only really that at full extension the tripod feels slightly flimsy as the last strut or two must be very thin to telescope down though it remains very workable. Also the head has a small slide out section that screws into the camera for easy change. This section does have a small amount of movement when taking your shot but it is fairly minimal and if you know its there is easy to counteract.

+ It is built solidly yet is light enough to carry around all day.

- Doesn't come with a case. Can't really complain about the tripod itself

+ It is very light yet sturdier than I expected. It extends to a good height, and can also be set at ground level, giving great versatility. The quick release plate is very responsive and the locking lever is easy to use.
Overall it feels like a quality product.

- The only bad points are that my camera (Panasonic FZ30) doesn't always stay still - it can twist on the thread. but isn't a major problem.
And the dial you use to determine how far out the legs deploy (depending on the angle you want to shoot at) feels just a little fragile.

+ I like how it goes low and also quite high

- the clips on the legs are too hard for me to undo all at once as I have arthritis. I thought they would be easier to unclip than they are
