Magix Movie Edit Pro 15

+ Lots of good toys to play with i.e. titles, fades sepia and old film mode. It wil take some time to sort out the really good the not so good and the don't bother aspects of the software. In general once you have sorted out how to start, the programme is compelling to complete the project which could be anything from a simple home movie to perhaps a bigger project. The software is designed to be used by everyone with most actions being obvious.

- uploading your movie from your camera may not be as simple as you think. This is, in my case, mainly due to the camcorder not having a firewire output even though it's a new camcorder. I have to use the camcorder provided software to upload via USB and then edit useing Magix. Not a major issue but was confusing when I started. as yet this seems to be the only minor problem. I purchased this software with the intention of it being used by children at a school, I haven't tried this yet but foresee a fair bit of supervision being required.
