+ So sturdy it's absurd; the quality is obvious as soon as you see and touch it. There's a good range of attachments, (many of which, in truth, you may well never use), and the citrus juice extractor is a nice bonus. It's very easy to use as well, with only two settings to select, (“on” or “pulse”), so even a kitchen novice can use it! Also, it is relatively quiet considering how powerful it is.

- A couple of minor bad points, though none should really put you off purchasing it. Firstly, the thing is VERY heavy; don't underestimate how much this processor weighs. It probably needs a permanent position in your kitchen rather than being whipped out of the cupboard everytime you need to use it. Secondly, having only two settings, (namely "on" and "pulse"), it can make it tricky to process your food to the correct consistency. If you need to make smooth soup, baby food or similar, it is perfect, but if you're looking for a more course finish, you'll have to master the "pulse" setting, which might take a few attempts. Finally, after the first use, when I was making butternut squash soup, the white plastic section of the blades discoloured to an unpleasant orange/yellow hue which I've never been able to get rid of. This doesn't stop the processor working but it looks make my MagiMix look a little tatty, which is a shame.

+ Easy to understand instruction book. Does exactly what it says when it comes to chopping and shredding.

- The recipe book could give more details, ie timings. ie how long do you mix when making the sponge.

Caroline, Oxford , “keen to cook”

+ nice and sturdy, heavy base. Quiet motor.

- the bowls seem flimsy and 'clicking' them into place feels as though they will snap. Using the dough hook seems to put a great strain on the machine - make s a clunky sound.
