Innovative design is a improvement over traditioal backpacks in allowing access to the bag without the need to take it off and find a place to put it down ; although it takes a while to get used to the technique
-
Although far better than traditional back packs it is far from ideal in its' present design. Compartment sizes and layout limit the size and type of equipment you can fit in. Size for size the traditional style holds far more. DSLR users with more than one body and several lenses will be unable to fit everything in.

Easy to access quickly without taking it off so extremely good in city environments. The additional pockets are very handy for memory cards and batteries.
-
It would have been better if it was longer and narrower so that it swivels around your torso better (the 200 is perfectly balanced).

Its just the right size to travel on an airline.

The strap is incredible uncomfortable, especially with the bag on one shoulder - all the weight is one shoulder is not good. The fit is poor.

The principle is great...simply rotate the bag around your body for easy access to your camera.
-
The reality is that the bag is not balanced, and pushes under your left arm when you simply wish it to remain on your back.

The design and concept are superb - just slide the bag round and you have access to the contents from the top - so nothing falls out.
-
There are irritating little clips that have to be undone to get into the bag.

A Nikon D200 with MB-D200 and a Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 fits perfectly, still with room for other lenses, leaving other compartments for flash, filters etc.

The design only allows for right shoulder use instead of either.
The separation of the top + bottom sections limits the bags flexibility.

More than enough room to carry all your gear for a full days shooting with room to spare for a packed lunch and plenty of space for accessories . Comfy for mid range walks and feels very secure, ready mode is fast and easy to use with no fear of dropping expensive kit on the floor. This bag left me with no feeling of wishing I got instead, by far the best value for money I have had on this kind of purchase.
-
May benefit from a handy strap for light weight tripod or monopod and maybe mesh side pocket for a can or bottle of drink.

Ease of use but only if using the camera with the fitted lens. Very comfortable in use.

I still have to take off the bag to retrieve other lenes, and although I can extend the length of the strap, the bag seems to be held very high. I still have to customise the contents to suit my own use.

It's perfect for what I want. Large enough to allow a camera fitted with a 80-200mm pro lens without having to take the lens off. Stores a lot of gear. Brilliant idea for quick access without having to put the bag down. Very well designed with nice little touches such as a microfiber cloth to cover or clean the camera. Great product in every way (do keep stocking it, there's little out there that does what this does)
-
I really can't think of too much. Perhaps some larger external pouch storage but that's not a big deal.

Good compact size for amount of kit it can carry (DSLR with 24-105 zoom attached and 3-4 other lenses + flash)
Quick to attach waterproof cover
Easy to access kit on the move thanks to design of main compartment zip.
-
No tripod mount, though it's size might not make that practical anyway.
Second compartment is less organised than main one.

Great bag, helps to keep all your lenses in place, has an extremely snug fit like all the other Slingshot bags. Im currently holding 2 camera bodies, one with a mid range telephoto zoom lens and one without. I also have an additional 3 more lenses in the bag, flashgun & acessories for it, 2 memory cards, lens hood, 4x AA batteries (for the flashgun) and charger and 2x battery chargers for the camera batteries with their plugs, lens pen cleaner and i still have space!
-
Although not a major problem, the bag looks pretty wide on your back compared to the Slingshot 100/200, I knew this at first, but the bag sits on one shoulder which can get tiring depending on how much equipment you have, it probably wold have been better with two shoulder straps but then thats the whole point of being able to bring the bag to the front to take your camera out without dropping everything else thats inside it. Overall i'm pleased with the bag.
