+ The widescreen is perfect for any movies and multitasking where you have different windows opening from the left and right; making your desktop easier to navigate. The monitor is HD-ready but requires a HD-enabled graphics card from the computer.
- Definitely NOT recommended if you are planning to buy a computer for gaming reasons. Most games pre-2008 does not support widescreen properly and will end up either unplayable (i.e. Battlefield 2) or will become stretched (i.e. Command & Conquer). The vertical length of the monitor screen is also smaller than the normal TFT computer monitor, which was unexpected.

+ VERY CLEAR AND BRIGHT SCREEN. GREAT FOR SEEING ALL DOCUMENTS ESPECIALLY SPREADSHEETS ETC. REDUCED REFLECTION ON SCREEN FROM WINDOW IN OFFICE.
- THE STAND IS SHORTER THAN I HOPED IN COMPARISON TO OTHER FLAT SCREEN MONITORS IN THE OFFICE. EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE FIXING POINTS FOR LONGER STAND - COULD NOT SEE ANY STAND RECOMMENDED. HAVE HAD TO PUT ON A MONITOR RISER TO BRING UP TO USABLE HEIGHT THEREBY TAKING THE SPACE UP ON THE DESK AGAIN SO NOT MUCH BETTER OFF WITH WORKING SPACE.

- Initial image quality poor, but only due to wider screen not suiting original PC settings, easy enough to alter once I realised it wasn't a dud monitor!

- Tesco's advertising implied that this was a 1920 X 1080 monitor, though other sellers correctly described it as having 1366 x 768 resolution (I was looking to replace a failed 1280 x 1024 device). However, it does the job....

+ I had never purchased a monitor before but when I needed an extra one for my laptop (as it has a very small screen) I was interested in this one. I bought it for watching 4od and DVDS etc and found it perfect for university. I don't know much about its spec for commercial use but it has worked well for me and Im pleased with it!
