+ The LGRC8001B has been the best tumble dryer I have ever purchased. Not one article of clothing has shrunk unlike my old dryer and the drying times are shorter. There is also a seperate drying rack so as to dry trainers or delicates without having them roll around in the drum.

+ This is another great product from LG it looks very stylish, the drum size is good, noise level is fantastic, its easy to use and cycles are good and as usual LG have thrown in common sense gadgets, in this case its a light that lights up the drum when you open door at the end of the drying cycle and a drying platform that fits inside drum for trainers or flat drying. Oh! and it plays a lovely tune at the end if you wish to turn on this feature.

- Price is a little high

+ Great tumble dryer and i would recommend it to anyone. I love the look and the low level noise of the machine, it drys the clothes well and has a great wee tune to tell you you load has finished, matched with the LG washing machine it's the perfect little combo

+ Looks the part, lovely gloss black finish. Dries clothes very well and adjust times throughout as the items dry quicker than expected. Filters accessible and easy to clean, condensed water easily drained.

- Little tune it plays when the cycle is finished can be slightly annoying! I'm sure it can probably be turned off if I bothered to read the manual properly!

Type of Dryer	Condenser
Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
