LG Electronics MS1947W Freestanding, microwave

+ It does everything it's supposed to do. Good value for money.

- None.

+ Great product bought for my son's 1st Microwave as he moved away to college. He finds it easy to use.

+ Nice compact microwave, fits neatly into the corner of the worktop. Really easy to use with pre-set programmes such as quick defrost, auto cook etc. It heats quickly and evenly.

- When using only a small amount of frozen meat the quick defrost is a little severe. I think it is meant for at least a full pound of meat, not two small chicken breasts.

+ Neat, relatively light to lift. Can be used in a motorhome which is on electric hookup without effecting the supply to the van or tripping the overload.

- I don't like the plastic cover that is still apparent inside the casing after it has been taken off. Otherwise I don't have anything bad to say about it.

+ Straight forward to use. Few fetures to get used

- Turntable is a little difficult to remove for cleaning

+ nice colour, slim, does the job.

- Microwave plate does not sit well and need to keep stopping microwave to adjust the plate very disappointing.

+ looks good, easy to use

- bit noisy, turntable not very smooth going round but greta value for money

+ Easy to clean , clear numbers and good value for money

- A bit difficult to understand instructions at first, if you have been used to a manual microwave. sometimes glass turn table lifts out or goes unbalanced when you lift out food, which can be a bit of a nuisance

+ It was larger than we expected, and we could fit a 2 litre jug into it.
The controls may look basic, but they were as complete as our previous microwave - of which we used only a fraction anyway. (Auto Cook - what's that?!)
