This phone is brilliant. It has everything that you could possibly want, as well as some really smart features. The camera is 5.0MP and is fantastic. It is easy to use and as touch phones go, it is up there as one of the best.
The navigation can be a little slow, and sometimes when you press a button, it can take a little bit of time to get to the menu you require. In all fairness, it is not slow, it's just that you need to get used to the fact that it is responding to touch on the screen. The only other bad point and this is probably nothing to many people, but if I change the text sound to silent, so that I don't get disturbed at night, but want to hear the phone ring if someone urgently needs me, it doesn't allow this. Its one setting for every aspect of your phone, which also includes the Alarm clock. I used to have a Samsung D900 which allowed the Phone, Text and Alarm volume settings to be different and I do miss that!.

It looks good and is easy to navigate and the 5m pixel camera is fantastic - much better than its immediate competition Apple iPhone
Slightly bulky and the battery life isn't as good as it should be

the touch screen and camera is very good the best ive ever seen
the batery is realy bad i think lg should make a more powerful battery like walkman phones

Looks good - nice camera
Hard to use, the stylus should be able to fit in the phone rather than dangling about - this is very annoying when you are making a call. Hard to find out how to change tones and not much in the way of ringtones, games, features to choose from.

There are many good points to this phone, the main good points for me is the Web Browser and Email to keep me connected, the featured camera is also very good and give nice clean crisp images
mm has to be battery life (and thats the only one i can think of. :)

easy to use, simple layout, camera is fantastic. lots of cool effects with the camera to
battery life bar is very miss leading as whn it shows that it has half battery bar (2 bars left out of the 4) the phone only has a couple of hours left till it is completly flat (stand by time) were as you think it has at least a day left in it. other than that the battery life lasts for a good amount of time. the phone does not have as many of functions as some other phones e.g no games etc

Really nice looking phone with brilliant camera functions. This is the main reason I wanted it. Easy to navigate to the areas you want with clear menu screen. With a memory card in it, its a great phone and a great camera. The internet function is great too as you can view landscape. No quite iPhone quality but nearly! Haven't done music yet but syncs with computer absolutely fine with disc that comes in pack.
Because there is no keypad (it comes up on the screen) you have to get used to the fact it will take you longer to text. I also find scrolling up and down a bit sensitive as you scroll down and it wizzes past the one you want or won't move at all. With practice I am getting used to it

It looks smart, easy to use when you get the hang of it...
bad battery life, says low battery- most phones hold out a bit longer, this goes in like 3 minutes. nothing special about it, not modernised enough for todays technology. Could of made it so much better- just a standard phone from about 3 years ago- but with a good camera...could make it more fun to use- have more themes available other than black, white, and fish. To be honest i think this phone is over rated A LOT. i read reviews before i got it, a few bad ones but i thought id still go for it, wish i didnt now!

Camera is very god quality and the viewing of photos is also easy.
Touch screen can get quite scratched and camera lens is uncovered so you need to be careful if you just throw your phone in your bag!

Good Looking. Easy to use menu options.
Bad ringtones. Touchscreen begins to stick so you constantly have to press option for it to cmoe open even though it vibrates. The little touch stick is no good and you need small fingers to type. Doesnt always pickup the letters you have inputted into a text.

Overall, the LG Viewty is a 'must-have' phone. everything about it is just awesome! the camera is just brilliant, u can pretty much do anything with it.
The only real bad point about the LG Viewty is its battery life, it is really poor. I would expect that a phone that has all fancy party pieces on would also have a battery to sustain the life at the party. If someone creates a battery that lasts longer than the current one, i will buy it.

awesome camera, with good video quality. and excelent battery life
you have to remove battery to gain access to the memory card and scrolling can be abit of a mission sometimes.

Battery life. Sound volume. Bad for music

This phone is really easy to use, the LG operating system they used is well thought out and streamlined to make it faster. Texting is a breeze with the onscreen qwerty keyboard, the regular keypad layout is also good one handed and the hand writing recognition gets it right about 90% of the time when using a finger, not even a stylus.
Battery life doesnt match up to my last phone if the screen is set to 100% brightness, this is probably due to the large size, however when on power save and 20% brightness, the screen is still perfectly visible and the battery lasts far longer.

Very nice looking, very well featured, sound and video superb. Ability to play DivX a masterstroke
Scroll function works backwards to how you would expect. Menu system a bit confusing at first

the camera is very good considering it is a mobile phone. the design is good, and i like that different ways you can text
battery, once it starts to go, although i try not to use it as much it will go quite quickly, otherwise the battery isn't that bad, just when it gets to the last two bars also the touch screen does take some time, i do text quite quickly, and it doesn't keep, up, this isn't really a bad point as it wouldn't kill me to slow down when i text

Texting is sometimes difficult because you tend to hit the wrong keys being touch screen and close together.

Steve, Newton Abbot, Devon, “Father of 3”
Not much to recommend it - that I like anyway. My son has one and is not that impressed either. I got mine as a free upgrade - not a good choice.
Fiddly phone. Synch software is absolutely useless. Locks too quickly. Doesn't handle music files well. Menus are challenging. Battery life is good as long as you don't make calls. has to be positioned exactly right to hear. Volume and zoom are fiddly. Micro SD limited to 2GB. Screen needs protection and is then insensitive to finger control.

the camera and look of the phone is excellent. you can use the camera just like a good quality digital camera.
the battery isnt as long as other phones but i appreciate that with so many features, if they are in use a lot it will drain the battery.

The camera is great, especially the video, although i havn't yet found a use for the 120fps recording feature yet!
The touchscreen is a bit of a pain, it can sometimes be quite inaccurate an ive found myself missing proper buttons.

Great camera with the option of expandable memory. Nice touchscreen. A good looking phone.
Turns itself off at least once a day and needs to have the battery taken out and then put back in to turn back on, which also takes about half a minute. Has very little capacity for songs unless you buy a memory card.

Amazing phone with amazing camera, easy to use and clear menus. Navigation and texting is really easy. There is four ways to text, and despite the actual touch writing being near impossible to use, the speed with the stylus is fantastic. It is expandable to a 2GB card so 500 songs available and inbox is capacble of storing 300 messages so more than enough if you ask me. Cheeky feature I thought was most fun was the picture editing. It is like a cut down version of "MS Paint" on your phone to doodle and draw on yall you favourite or least fave piks :D:D great laugh. Navigation couldn't be easier to. with very clear menus. Overall its an amazing phone and i would never change it!!!
Only a few themes available so limited changes can be made but in honesty the themes avaliable are fun. Shock reduction is only good if your moving slightly, i think my pictures come out better with shock reduction off, the shock reduction cannot function properly if you move fast. Battery life is awful i charge atleast once every two days Stylus broke in a few days of getting it and i look after my phones i have a cover foir it which is reccommended as the camera sticks out a fair bit and is a major risk of scratches

the touch screen is one of the best i used to have an iphone and i can tell you this out classes it. Very good phone and will be one of the best for a long time.
The only bad thing i can think of is that the memory card slot is under the battery but thats about it.

You have no problems with buttons breaking, and the camera is excellent quality. The phone is smart and compact, overall a good choice.
This phone is not easy to use, although once u get use to it is ok. If you like downloading music from a pc on to your phone theni wouldnt recommend this handset as it is not easy to do. The same applies if you wanted to put your photos on a pc.
