- I could not have personal tones for the sms , the ringtones were quiet and i missed a number of calls, i could not extract data from a mms , the sound quality on a video was rubbish and the pictures were not that good

+ really easy to use didn't even have to read the hand book that came with it

- You cannot write a message while the phone is sending one. It is difficult and awkward to use the toggle button on the screen and it is almost impossible to see the screen in daylight or any bright light. You are limited to a certain number of tones with your alarm and also your message tone.

- If you text alot during a 4 hour period the battery dies so i have to carry a spare charged one, if you dont text or call it lasts 9 hours.
Texting could be simpler as it is over complicated to send and to send multiple people

- This battery is THE WORST battery for a phone, and it's really anoying that it tells you the battery is low when there is still days of battery life left!

- In bright light/sun you can't see the screen, the scroll bar is a nightmare - you scroll to text and find its gone to contacts and is ringing someone!!

- Constantly crashes/switches itself off, internet is extremely user friendly, speaker volume is not very accessible/fiddly whilst on the phone, text messaging is difficult - adding words to dictionary not as easy as when using other phones - can only send messages to a maximum of 6 people at a time, internet connection is slow, temperamental and prone to disconnecting...etc etc

- battery life is substandard, only lasts 2-3days at most... my last sony ericsson could last about a week. also, the loudspeaker is very quiet even at full volume.

- The MP3 player really sucks. Took it back because of this. It will not allow you to create playlists or play a whole album all the way through from the memory card, you have to manually chose the next track. I wanted it so I could play music in my car so it wasn't practical for that. Big shame as with a firmware update this phone would rock.

+ Looks good, its very slim and light, the scroll button to navigate is brilliant, the camera is of really good quality and I can check my hair and make-up in the screen/mirror!

- It does not have a ring & vibrate option (to do both together).

+ fantastic little thing the mirror is so perfect. Easy to text with a menu for short cuts and a scroll bar, great sound quality when talking on the phone, the chrome colour is also really stylish.

- Doesn't seem to be as feature based as other LG phones, the battery doesn't last long if you text too much. The camera isn't as good as other 2mpx phones I've used so I just stick to texting and dialing which it's ideal for.

- as it has a mirror as a screen when you are otside you cant seeanything but your reflection. the back light timer dosnt stay lit for long otherwise really like the phone.

+ Personally, I have found the LG Shine phone extremely easy to use and it has never let me down at any point since I purchased it.
I would definitely recommend this phone as it looks good, it's camera quality is amazing and all of it's other features are extremely useful and work efficiently.

- As the phone does have a "mirror" effect to the screen, it does scratch quite easily and it can be annoying although you can purchase covers for the screen to stop the problem from getting any worse.
Another issue that I have noticed is the fact that when you download a game onto the phone it seem to take your money but not actually allow you to have the money, which abit of a problem. Although, being as I don't personally play the games on my phone it isn't much of a pain.

- The screen is very hard to see in any kind of light because of it's reflection (although, on the other hand, this is good as it doubles up as a mirror) and the battery life is not very long, even when I haven't used the phone for many functions other than SMS text messaging.

+ Its a really good phone, i was looking for one to replace the one i have had for a couple of years and this is a great replacement. The scoll is really easy to use and handy too. I love everything about this phone. :)

+ This phone is extremely easy to use- the camera has excellent quality and also has a flash on it which allows for you to take pictures in dim lighting with still a very good picture quality. It's so easy to use and only took about a day to figure all of the items on the phone without consulting the handbook provided. Also, as this model is very stylish I won't need to buy another mobile for a very long time, it's just one the best phone's I've bought.

+ The LG Shine is as delight to open, browse, use & even close with it's light musical accompaniment to the previous actions. It's menu tree is a delight as each item is easy to access & user frendly. I've had other phones, but this is the first time I've even considered a tool as a fashion accessory ( & I'm a pensioner).

- After playing only two MP3 tracks, & browsing the menu tree for a few minutes, this phone needed to be recharged -- that's sad.

- Not too happy with the scroll bar - it takes some getting used to and you can easily jump to the wrong menu. Also the screen reflects too much light, not very clear.
