+ Optical lenses are fairly good for a phone, display is crisp, built-in speakers good, too.

- Software quite slow, missing any sort of equalizer for music.

- If you dont get a decent sized memory card it is hard to do things such as MMS. Also It would be a lot better if the Pen that comes with it was actually embedded within the phone instead of seperate.

Handy having google maps built in and the Jogging buddy for those fitness fanatics. Best point for me must be the WiFi allowing connection to modems for faster internet browsing and not using any data allowence (if you have one).

- Although the phone is dolby enabled the speakers are easily distorted although the hands free speaker seems sufficient.

+ I think that this is a very good phone as it is quite simple to use. The sound quality is also excellent and the camera is fantastic. The video is also amazing quality.

- The 1 thing i find annoying is that there isnt a place on the phone you can slide the little pen in, it came be attached to the phone but it hands down and i think it ruins the look of the phone.

+ I bought this phone for its 8 megabite pixel camera. It does have some extra special features that are impressive, eg. soft focus for beauty shots and it can even predict if your going to blink before you take the shot!

- Very poor battery which has caught me out several times.
Its not easy to use for texting which is very frustrating as the touch screen doesn't always pick up the letters making texting a real chore!
The camera has so many features that its not a quick snap camera you have to fiddle around with the touch screen to put it onto the right setting which is frustrating when you want to capture something quickly.

+ Its a good size. The keypad is realatively responsive. It looks good. Has alot of memory.

- My main bad point is that i got this phone mainly for the camera which i paid a high premimum for, what i have found is that instead of having a high quality camera on me at all times to capture moments the whole process is just annoying. Im a student and am therefore, I would like to think up to date with the way phones work and am quick with my fingers. however to take a photo you need to unlock the phone, open the camera lense and then tap the screen a few times if you need to zoom in and then take the picture using the button, which is right next to the hold button...asking someone else to take photos at parties or after a few drinks the closness of these two buttons can be a problem, resulting in the sequence agin. The camera is slow to appear and to take photos. Texting can also be a nightmare with text sequences taking just too long and a send button very close to the space button again resulting in many wasted texts.

- The product on the whole seems ok but its difficult to use the touch screen effectivley without the pen, i seem to keep managing to touch the wrong area. there does not seem to be many features included with it.

+ This is a good looking phone that is fairly intuitive to use. Picture quality is excellent and can be used on full size PC screen with excellent resolution providing you set it up properly.

- Battery seems to expire rather earlier than I'm used to with my previous phones.

+ The camera and photo editing is really good. The pen is handy and the phone looks and feels great.

- Navigation through texts and screens can be long-winded and if using fingers rather than pen, innaccurate. The vibration does not seem to work in quiet mode, although my settings suggest it should.

- the touch screen was difficult to use, over sensitive in some parts and non responsive at other times. I also hate the fact that when I am writing a text and someone else texts me at the same time the phone automatically changes to recipient of the text im writing to the person who just sent me a text.... caused a huge problem !!!!

- the battery does not last over 24 hours if you play music and use the camera/video a lot.

+ I love that it has so much to offer within it, and its my camera, my phone and my organiser all in one, and the radio is really good within it and its small enough to fit in my handbag.

- the synchronisation with my pc is really hard to use i find, and sometimes doenst work when i need to upload photos onto my pc from my mobile phone.

+ the camera and video is of great quality, so much so that i got rid of my other digital camera. the voice recorder works fantastically (but i still haven't figured out how to import the files onto my pc)

- i have to press a lot of buttons to make a phone call, write and email message, or to find what i want - maybe just the dilemma of the touch phone that takes some getting used to. the manual is not at all helpful in the use of the software, nor many of the phone features - i'm still not sure what the phone can do and what is an extra charge, what is included in my plan etc. the software is not easy to use and i'm finding importing music difficult. the album covers do not appear when the songs are playing, yet they are all in my photo gallery ???

- Heh EVERYTHING!
The phone is very very slow and often confuses itself and freezes. The sound volume is poor, i was enticed by "dolby surround sound", but unfortunately i can barely hear anything in comparision to other phones. The layout is kinda dull and other than the wallpaper lacking in customisation. It can be hard to scroll through selections and find specific features.
I seriously regret the purchase and wouldnt advise the phone to anyone else, unless the happened to be a budding photographer perhaps?

+ the phone was good for editing photos and effects when ever the phone worked which was very rare

- i have had 3 of the LG Renoirs and all had the same problems the camera was wiping the phone of memory and switched the phone off and problems continued after the phone gradually stopped working

+ easy to use, quick to learn how to use, looks good, camedra ia fantastic.

- the space key etc surround the send key making it easy to send incomplete texts. litterally this phones only downfall though.

+ I bought this phone for the camera and it has paid off in that respect because it delivers quality images and gives you plenty of funky options to play with. My favourite is the Panoramic mode. You rock Panoramic mode.

- It smells.

+ When I first got this phone, i thought it might take a while to get used to not having a keypad and having to use the touchscreen for everything. But it was remarkably easy to get the hang of! Sending text messages is a breeze with either the on-screen number keypad or flip the phone sideways for the touch QWERY keyboard to be displayed. I love this phone now, the camera is AMAZING, with features like blink detection and smile detection. The clarity you get even when using the zoom feature is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this phone to a friend. And it looks great!

- The only downside i have found with this handset is the battery life. It needs charged every day. In saying that though, i do use it a lot, whether its txting or calling. I have heard that the fact that it is fully touch-screen operated has something to do with the amount of battery power it uses though. I think this must be the case as i have noticed that even when i don't use it as much, it still needs charged more often than any other non touch-screen handset i have ever had. However, i wouldn't let that put me off this phone. All the other features and capabilities that this handset has more than make up for this minor drawback.

+ ok so i have had this phone since the beginning of december, and so far it has been great! i struggled for a little bit when i first recieved the phone as it was also my first touch screen mobile, but now after getting used to it, i find it so easy to use. everything in the phone is all pretty self explanitory, and easy to get through. the camera quality is incredible, my digital camera has barley left the house since i got the phone as this is just as good - if not better. i have dropped the phone on hard surfaces a couple of times, and it still is working good as ever, the phone has no scracthes on it either which is suprising. one of my other favourite features on the phone is the fact that i can connect to the internet via wi-fi, this comes in so handy, and with the screen being so big its easy to see. also the guide that came with the phone was great for helping me work through the software on the phone.

- one of the things that let me down with the phone is its sound quality. when i am not using headphones and im playing music aload, it is not as load as any of my previous phones, this dissapointed me alot... as it also sometimes results in me missing phone calls regulary.

- delay when sending messages or doing more than one task, as if the processor is struggling with completing the one function.

+ I can think of very few good things to say about this phone, i supose i should say that it is packed with the latest features.

- I find it so iritating that when making calls to most companys now you must press numbers from a recorded menu, this becomes so anoying when the screen locks up and by the time you unlock the screen to use the number pad the other end has hung up. Given a choice again this phone would be way down my list.

+ Very sleek phone with a good video player (DIVX approved). Very good camera, for a phone, but still a way off a regular cameras resolution and clarity.

- Onboard GPS but no software available to turn it into a sat-nav. Makes it completely wasted. If you have no signal and try to send a text, it sits in the outbox even when you do get a signal back. You have to cancel the sending and resend it.

+ It looks good.

- The screen is exceptionally delicate & often freezes so have to take the phone to bits reguarly in the hope that it'll work again!
The batterylife is short mine tends to be on charge everyday.

+ I love it, the camera is just the icing on the cake, the mp3 player and the dolby sound are brilliant, i have several feature films on my phone memory card and the quality is unbelievable, i persuaded my sister to buy one instead of an iphone , it took 4 minutes!

- the phone won't sync with my laptop as it's supposed to but all i did was put the micro card into a card reader and transfer data that way instead.

- The battery life is pretty awful, even if you turn off your Wi-Fi and your Bluetooth it still runs out pretty quickly with minimal use sometimes, when you play music out loud from your phone it's pretty quiet which also means you sometimes don't hear your phone ringing.

- battery life is the only let down but you quickly get used to it. no apps like an i-phone, but that is the only thing the i-phone is better than the renoir at.

- SMSing is quite hard - its difficult to use the touch screen to text, but maybe thats just me. My fingers arent huge but they make text entry pretty difficult. Battery is pretty sucky. Media player is horrible and slow to load.

+ It's a good enough phone. Learning curve on how to use it isnt long at all.
Camera is great, clear and lots of other cool settings like slomo.
It's what I wanted in a phone. So it was defo for me.

- Sometimes messages get stuck in your outbox, which can get annoying. Just turn it off and take out the battery for a few minutes that sorts it out.
Battery doesnt seem to last that long, especially when taking photos etc.
Screen is prone to damage, you can just see it happening.
If you got big fingers texting is a pain as the buttons are quite dainty.
