+ Excellent Freezer space compared with most American FF that have water/Ice dispensers.

+ Plenty of storage space in both fridge and freezer. The lack of an in door ice maker gives a lot more freezer space

- the only bad point so far is that the centre panel between the doors is white when the rest of the unit is black, however this cannot really be noticed when the doors are closed.

+ Great fridge, just the right size for our medium sized house, really quite rated highly efficient could ask little more from a fridge

- could perhaps do with a tiny bit more depth, but this is the price you need to pay for an energy efficient fridge, as it needs to use more insulation.

+ Sturdy and good looking/stylish. Can store loads in the fridge. Plenty of room for large bottles. Handy ice storage box in the freezer. Ideal for a family.

- Can be a tiny bit noisy, but we don't find this a problem as it's not kept in a room we use all the time.
Freezer section could do with an extra shelf in the large top section.

Ensure it can fit through your doors - though doors on unit can be removed if required just managed to get ours in on standard door frame.

+ REMOVABLE ICE MAKER. GIVES THE OPTION OF MORE STORAGE SPACE, IF REQUIRED. A NICE HALF WAY HOUSE BETWEEN THE BUILT IN TYPE WHICH TAKES A LOT OF FREEZER SPACE AND IS FIXED, AND THE LITTLE TRAYS WHICH ARE A PAIN TO USE. DOORS ARE EASY TO REMOVE AND REPLACE FOR INSTALLATION WHERE ACCESS IS TIGHT. GLASS SHELVES ARE EASY TO CLEAN. FAIRLY QUIET IN OPERATION.

- DOOR STORAGE IS BADLY DESIGNED AS THE BINS HAVE AN INWARD TURNING LIP WHICH IS A BIT RESTRICTIVE, IF THE SIDES WERE STRAIGHT LARGER ITEMS COULD BE ACCOMMODATED. THE ADDITION OF ONE MORE SHELF IN THE FRIDGE SECTION WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE TO ME, PROBABLY JUST A PERSONAL PREFERENCE, BUT I WOULD PREFER THIS RATHER THAN HAVING TO PILE THINGS ON TOP OF ONE ANOTHER. THE HIGHER SPEC MODELS SEEM TO HAVE MORE GADGETS, IE BREAD/SNACK DRAWERS AND WINE HOLDERS. SOME OF THESE WOULD BE USEFUL FOR ME BUT I DID NOT WANT THE PARTICULAR COLOUR OR FINISH THAT THESE MODELS CAME IN, IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO SPECIFY SOME OF THE REMOVABLE FEATURES LIKE THESE THAT YOU REQUIRE RATHER THAN HAVING TO BUY A HIGHER SPEC JUST TO GET ONE PARTICULAR FEATURE. IT'S POSSIBLE THAT SOME OF THESE ITEMS MAY BE OPTIONAL EXTRAS BUT THIS IS NOT AN OPTION AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.

- The shelves in the freezer dont have a lip so items do slip off, it would have been better with draws or pull down fronts on the shelves. The water in the dispensar is cool but not cold I think alot of people are lead to believe that the water comes out ice cold. The water filter at the back of the unit has to just hang as there is no hole to put it in.

+ Looks good and has a wonderful fridge capacity with large drawers. had to dismantle the doors to get through the front door but there were clear instructions on how to do this. Water and ice dispenser have been used frequently.

- Freezer capacity not huge in comparison to fridge, but thats how they seem to be. shame they don't make equal capacity fidge and freezer models as the freezer width is quite narrow. Crushed ice goes everywhere so beware!

Easy to move as it is on wheels.

- Although the capacity is one of the biggest on paper, in reality you cant fit as much in the fridge or freezer as you can in a traditional fridge freezer. Shallow shelves and everything has to be balanced on top of one another in the freezer as there are no drawers.

+ Well constructed and illuminated 'frost free' fridge/freezer with exceptionally good interior lighting. Not having the ice maker gives extra freezer space.

- The fridge cannot be fully stocked safely because there is far too much space between the shelves. It really needs an extra shelf but to purchase one costs an arm and two (or three) legs. The whole unit could do with some adjustment on the rear legs because it leans backwards quite considerably. If you have heavy liquids stored in the fridge door, unless held firmly, it has a tendancy to whip quickly backwards when opening. The door is stopped by the hinges well before it can strike the side of the fridge but in doing so, considerable whiplash pressure is put on the hinges and I am concern as to how much they will take before breaking.

- No egg tray, i would prefer an extra shelf inside the fridge and freezer, the capacity of the fridge is huge i would prefer if a manufacturer would make a model which has a larger freezer capacity and less fridge space.

+ Loads of space inside, not having the ice-maker in the door means so save loads of freezer space you otherwise compromise. It's really quiet and looks good. You can fit all you food and liquids in easily, lots of room for beer and meat if you're planning a bbq! Salad drawers are really good too and have a really smooth slide.

- The top door shelf on the fridge isn't very secure and so you can't put much in it.

- Door pockets in the freezer don't hold much and the shelves in the freezer are small - We're having to use boxes & tubs to get it filled to capacity without everygthing falling out - but I think thats the same for all american style fridge freezers, not just this one

+ I had a hotpoint that lasted less than twelve months, so I was forced to replace. This was one of the cheaper models available and I must say I'm extremely impressed. It's got bags of space, I don't find it noisy at all, and it feels very solid. Does everything I wanted it to.

- None that I have come across as yet. Possibly it is a little 'silvery' for my taste, as my previous firdge was much darker, although it still looks great in the kitchen.
