So much room food can be seen easily, not piled in a small area

+ Sleek design. Fits smaller space than most other american styles but still has a large capacity for food storage. Really like that it has three bottom drawers in the fridge for meat & salad/vegetables as the standard of two is often not enough. Also this model has found extra storage spaces in every nook and cranny in the freezer which was wasted space in the older model. The water and ice dispenser is much taller than on the older models which is better as larger glasses can fit underneath.

- The shiny metal handles show marks when the door is opened/closed with damp or greasy hands but these do wipe off easily enough with a soft cloth.

+ Very Quiet, Very easy to move (castors fitted that allow forward and back movement but not side to side) this ensures that it is easy to clean behind but not collide with adjacent units.

+ I like having water and ice readily available to be the best feature. I also like the idea of never having to defrost the freezer ever again, it also helps to know that if the kids neglect to close the freezer door it won't get all frosty.

- the freezer layout could have included an additional drawer which would have given masses of space instead of lots.

- Cannot use the chilled water facility as the feed pipe freezes up. I was told the only way to remedy this is to defrost each time which rather defeats the object of having a freezer. I would return this product if it wasn't for the fact I cannot be bothered to arange it now that it is installed.

+ Ive had this LG Food Centre for 6 months now and I can confirm that its absolutely Fantastic!! Im amazed at the length of time you can keep food past its best by dates! Milk seems to last at least 10 days past its use by. In the drawers with humidity controls vegetables and fruit last a good three to four weeks. The Ice maker: We use a lot of ice in our house and at weekend when we entertain guests with cocktails a-plenty. Never run out since we got this food centre. Extreme/express freezing speed button gets your food super frozen in no time. No bad points on this appliance!

+ Good quality finsh and design. Easy to operate electronic panel on the front door of the fridge makes basic tasks easy enough to perform without ever needing to refer to the manual.

- The fridge is a big unit but has slightly less usable capacity than i thought it would have.

+ Great design and spacious fridge compartment. The combined unit is smaller that the orignal separates it replaced which gives us extra room in what is already a cramped utility area. The in-built water and ice dispenser are continuously in use.No more ice trays spilling water everwhere :-)

+ looks great, doors are nice and easy to open. the storage in door is amazing but doesn't take 2 ltr drinks bottles unfortunately. there is a wine rack and lots of shelves and drawers. the smaller width in the fridge really makes it easier to organise and see foods better. well worth building a new kitchen to get room for one of these!

- the freezer has less room than the fridge and when you have an ice facility you obviously do loose some of the space to that.

If the door is left ofen to long there is a chime to remind you to close it. Handy lock on the ice dispenser to stop kids playing with their 'new toy'.

Lots of space for veg etc The benefits of owning an american style like this far outweigh those of having a small one

- Freezer isnt that spacious, but holds all our shopping perfectly. We only freeze fresh foods such as meat and bread and milk etc so its great. Thatsthe only bad thing to say about it really

+ Overall good unit, works well, great sized fridge and freezer is okay.

- Freezer could have been a little larger, not necessarily in size but in internal arrangement.
i.e containers are shallow, front to back, to make room for compressor at rear, and there could have been a large container in one of the places. Water filter could have been located internally, like the Beko AP930 I think, which wash out of stock at the time.

+ since buying this american refrigerater iwe have drank more cold water and will be able to cater for all our friends who come to dinner with the ice for there drinks and no fuss or mess The grandchildren love the crushed ice to in fresh juice . It s the best item we have bought for the kitchen we wouldnt be without it .

- We found the freezer section frosting up around the dispenser area, but doesn't really cause any problems
