Score 9.0/10+ The LG 50PS3000 PLASMA is very stylish. It was very simple to set up and is easy to use. This is my first full HD T.V. and when watching programmes in High Definition, the pictures are superb. The colours are absolutely brilliant.
- An earphone jack would have been great on this TV. The volume, even when it is at 1, is still fairly loud if you are watching TV at night in a quiet room. This isn't exactly the worst thing in the world on a TV.

Image processing system to optimize picture quality
Dual XD Engine is upgraded from XD Engine, LG’s own core technology for picture quality. The new algorithm of Dual XD Engine expresses amazingly accurate color by enhancing colour correction, contrast, visibility in dark area and sharpness.
Customized modes for the content of your choice
LG TVs have three special modes (Cinema, Sport and Game modes) for enhanced picture and audio quality. These are easily accessible using the AV MODE hot key on the remote control.
The power to control only the volume of voices
Sometimes when watching films it is difficult to hear voices over the background sound of their environment. The clear voice feature adjusts the sound balance to emphasise voices and reduce background noise.
Great sounds is meant to be heard, not seen!
The front bezel works as a speaker, replacing the normal speaker grill. With the Invisible Speaker System, the speakers are embedded in strategic spots underneath and around the front bezel. They enhance the audio by increasing the ‘sweet spot’ to give a wider and richer sound field.
A Big Screen TV that Delivers Big Savings
The Backlight control function controls the brightness of the TV, while the Screen Off function lets you switch off the screen while keeping the sound alive. Stand by Mode 0 function sets your TV to a power saving mode where zero electricity is used. Added to these 3 basic power saving functions is the Intelligent Sensor function that controls automatically the brightness and the colour of the picture in accordance the brightness and the colour of the viewing area. These are just some of the reasons why the majority of LG TVs have been certified by the Energy Saving Trust to save you money off your electricity bills.
