+ The sound was surprisingly good for LG TV's in the past the bass has been off on them leading to louse explosions and quite voices. Very good picture quality via HDMI.

- the stand did not go on very easily. Plus it would have been better if the stand was adjustable so you could alter the angle of the display. Not very good picture quality via scart, older models used to be ok but just looks fuzzy on newer models.

+ Easy to set up and use right from the box. Channel switching is generally a one-touch move no matter how far you move up the list, and is acceptably quick for an LCD. Menus are well designed and second nature in use. surround sound is not the best, but with these slim cases there aren't options for clever speaker set-ups, so you have to accept that, and there is a reasonable base tone when you turn it up. Although I have seen slightly better picture quality, not for anything like this price. Overall very good value.

- Switching between inputs is not a one-touch operation, in fact it can require several button steps on the remote depending on the inputs you are switching between (say from blu ray to TV), but this is the only design flaw I have noticed.

- Poor manual. A small manual to set it up and an almost 200 page manual makes it difficult at first. OK when you have got used to it. (after a lot of hit & miss) This should not stop you considering buying this TV because overall it is brilliant.

+ DSUB VGA input, if you add a wireless mouse and keyboard to your PC then it a great way to surf from the coffee table ;->
