- Bought telly for my mum - Instruction manual is on CD, but she doesnt have a computer :( That means that we have had to use "trial and error" to get subtitles up etc

+ Looks good. The Freeview digital software works well - i.e. it is pretty fast and does not crash (like cheap set top boxes do).
Good price (reflects the image and sound quality though).

- Sound is very poor in low volumes range - you can hear a fuzzy noise, especially during speech, such as the news. Also, the image is pretty poor. Poor resolution, and very bad for playing Xbox 360 games as you cannot even read text.

+ the television and remote are both user friendly. The overall look and design of the set are visually stunning. Overall i'm extremely fortunate to have found such a great product at such a good price!

- It can't do the washing up but apart from that it has none.

- You can not scroll through the information menu to look at other channels other than going back into the main TV menu.

- It only switches on to standby and not off totally, this is not good in todays environment.

- NO OFF SWITCH - HAVE TO SWITCH OFF AT MAINS - OTHERWISE CAN ONLY LEAVE IN STAND-BY.

- No off button which is umbelievable in this day and age. We have to turn ot off at the wall every time or else it stays on standby.

- The channels take too long to load as you flick through them, it should be instant. It sounds trivial but it is really agnoying with daily use. Also there is no on screen display for the program guide so you cant see program information unless you press the info button on the remote, gain this is really agnoying when you have to do it on every channel to know whats on. Also the built in antena is very poor at picking up signals even with the built in antena booster so you will still need to plug in an arial especially if you live in a poor signal area.

+ Clear visual and sound quality. Bulky remote but easy to use.

- No off mode - only stand by. This wastes electricity and so we have to use an umbrella to reach to switch off the set at the plug.

- I can't find a way to turn the TV off fully i.e. it is always in standby mode, I have looked in the instruction manual and it seems that there is no way round it, except for maybe unplugging it.

+ Excellent value for money. HD channel is superb. Normal channels are also very good.

- Sound quality is good but not as good as the image quality.

- The worst thing about this set is that it doesn't switch to AV when its on digital !
Consequently you have to switch to analogue before you use your DVD or Sky and then switch back to digital when you have finished. Is this a design problem or is there something I'm missing ?

+ A lovely sleek design; picture and sound quality very good. Remote control is easy to use and it's easy to adjust the picture and sound to your own preferences.

- Although we view our TV through a cable modem connected to the TV, sometimes the picture breaks down into pixel squares in various parts of the screen, but it's only for a second or two so doesn't really detract from enjoying a program.

- Faffing around with the settings when adding other equipment. I am used to the TV being able to sense when a DVD player is connected. You have to choose the DVD from a list. EPG is not intelligent. Picture quality not as good as I expected, but the TV was relatively cheap.

+ Great image quality for normal virgin tv, dvd's and gaming. good sound quality. size is perfect, not too big but is large enough to give great quality and viewing potential even at distance. the interface to change settings and imputs also works simply and effectivly
