+ Easy to set up even though you do not get a paper instruction book. The instructions come on a CD but if you are used to modern electrical items it is common sense. It is quite literally plug it on and follow the instructions on the screen. Picture quality is very good and so is the sound. For all of those with an eye on the environment there is also an on/off button at the rear of the screen so you are not forced to leave it on stand by. It also looks smart with the piano black finish. You even get a little cleaning cloth for the screen! I would definitely recommend this TV as the perfect size and quality for the bedroom or kitchen.

- The only thing that possibly could be listed as a bad point is as stated above the instruction book is on a CD and some people like to have paper copies of manuals/instruction books.

- consideration of what room it is being used in, otherwise sound quality can be poor (ideal for average size bedroom, small kitchen)

+ Looks good and can be turned off to save power. Some people have criticised the sound quality but if they bothered reading the handbook on CD they would see that you not only have a choice of pre-set sound set-ups but can manually change the balance yourself. The set-up software for all facilities is fairly intuitive and the remote is clear and well laid out.

- It's a shame the full handbook is only on CD because you can't quickly refer to it if you forget how to do something. It is also annoying that when you press a channel button to turn the set on, you don't get that channel but get the last one it was tuned to. So you must turn it on, then select the channel you want.

- Not much really, only the buttons on the remote are a little small and fiddly, but not a huge problem at all!!

I, in fact, have bought 2 of these sets - one for my sister - and we both use them as bedroom sets.

- None at all really. Some care is needed to select the correct language option when setting up. I foolishly was careless in setting up the first set, so that all of the on-screen instructions were in a completely unknown language, even though I am quite a good linguist. It took me me some time to find my way back to a language I could understand!
