+ its a good size for use in the bedroom , you also get a good picture .

- The sound is not great even when you go to the settings and try to adjust it , also the angle in which the tv sits in its stand it slightly lays back which cant be adjusted.

- The sound quality is abysmal..... In fact it would be a overall improvement if sound wasn't a feature of this product its so bad

+ Very good picture, sound has to be turned up quite a bit to hear it but much to be expected from a small tv with small speakers. Overall this is excellent value for money and would certainly buy LG again. Also worth noting is the picture ratio of 3000:1, a lot more than say sony and samsung.

- Not sure if part of tuner has failed as unable to get all tv and radio stations, when I have two other Digital lcds in the house and they both have all freeview channels.

+ I plugged this LG 19" LCD TV in and pressed "set up" it did it all straight away. Since then it has been used on a daily basis without problem. We live in a marginal Freeview area however, the picture remains steady, bright and clear. The sound quality is very good. A very good buy that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for this size of LCD TV.

+ A really sharp, bright picture with deep contrasting colours. Decent sound for the size of set. Digital tuner works well. I originally brought a Wharfdale from elsewhere and was so disappointed with the poor sound and picture, I swapped it for this one.

- Text on the menus is a little on the small side, and with the surround sound turned on, some speech is difficult to pick up. However, for the price, this is an excellent set which I would buy again.

+ Had heard the sound quality not so good, but it's fine in our big kitchen. Very easy to install & use.

- cannot alter angle of screen so have to put a book underneath stand to angle screen down when being used as tv. would be nice if it didn't have standby mode wasting electricity

+ it is very compact and neat ideal for a bedroom,on the down side if you watch it to low down for instance laying in bed like my son does then you can`t see the picture you have to be inline with the screen.

+ Well packaged and presented. Fairly easy to set up and has proved to be reliable so far.

- Perhaps has a few unnecessary functions within the menus and really needs tweaking by the end user to get the best results from it.

+ Convenient, compact size for use as a second/bedroom TV. Smart, shiny black trim looks good - if you like black.

- Sound quality OK but not a patch on the 23 inch LG (in silver) we bought 2 years ago which has the speakers either side of the screen, a far better place for them.

+ Looks good. Was able to set it up without too much problem. Image quality is really good. I like it.

- The only bad point is really that I found some of it quite confusing to set up. I managed to kind of guess my way into how it would work with the cable tv, but this wasn't clear and I wasn't even really sure how to get it to work with the freeview it says it has. The printed manual wasn't really much help. I'm guessing the one on CD would be better, but it seemed a hassle to put the computer on and search a CD while I was trying to set up the TV.

+ I plugged in an indoor ariel to put me on until a proper ariel was installed. To my surprise the digital tuner on this tv picks up nearly all the digital channels through this ariel. None of my other three digital tuners do! Looks great.

- The off switch is on the back and difficult to get to on a wall mounted tv. This means the tv has to be in standby all the time.

Cannot be switched off without unplugging only goes to stand by.

- The sound isn't that great but fine for a bedroom tv (the reason I purchased it for) It's also a little on the slow side when flicking channels and the channel info in the top right corner is quite small so not easily visable when viewed from a distance.

+ Great looking set. Excellent features...has six aspect ratio options so you can watch an 4:3 without the picture having to be stretched to 16:9. Widescreen DVD's look great also in their natural format. The tuner receives Analogue and Digital signals and there are two scart inputs. To select one of the various inputs is very straight forward. Overall a great TV

- Sound is a bit tinny but this can probably be rectified by connecting it to a hi-fi, although I haven't tried this
