Excellent size, fantastic quality pictures and really great to use. Various features have meant I can get a perfect picture almost every time.

Hard to get stable pictures all the time, the hand that indicates blurriness seems to be amber most of the time, even when you are stood perfectly still.

I like the sleek size. Though small, it is loaded with a lot of features. I am yet to develop and print the pictures I have taken with the product. I would therefore not be able to comment on the image quality.
-
Product did not come with users manual. I have to go the the kodak website to learn about some aspects of how to use some of the product features. It means that without access to the internet there are some features I would not be able to learn how to use.

I like the noise it makes, which adds to the experience of using it. It is small, light and transportable. Not needing to squint with one eye into the camera due to the large screen display, and not needing to crouch or climb with the machine to get the right angle, is quite liberating. The hand strap is a useful security measure.
I am still getting used to all of the computerized features, which I am finding uses for.

In order to do everything that I thought it would do, I needed to buy extra products. The inbuilt memory is not very large, and the camera needs to be kept re-charged (which I wasn't used to, having been accustomed to having used a manual SLR for many years). Also, not being used to the video function, I have had some surprising pictures, because there is a time delay between depressing the button and the machine recording the shot. The buttons are quite small, and it is a bit bothering when they don't seem to work; the problem is usually that the camera needs re-charging; it may be that the details are fragile, vulnerable and non-replaceable. Therefore, whereas my old SLR is still running beautifully when its casing has worn thin through so much use, I have a fear with the digital one that it might not last very long (although I hope that it does).

It's a fantastic little camera with expert quality! It was perfect for my trip to Italy and now at Uni because it fit in every purse and handbag and it is so easy to use. There are no tricky buttons and one can really get the best quality out of it even if you are allergic to reading directions and manuals. Overall it was a really good purchase and I love it!!

Light, compact, easy to use, good quality photos, lots of features. One of the things I like most is that it has a rechargable battery which lasts for a long time before it needs to be recharged. I especially like being able to change the number of pixels. Good range of colorus. Very impressed with it and have already recommended it to other people.

It took me a while to figure out how to use it as I didnt think there was sufficient written instructons with it, also there was no mention of having to buy the memory card separately. Some of the photos have excellent picture quality and some of them are dark. I found the buttons abit small and fidgety.

Camera Type

Compact
There are 2 main types of camera: The SLR and the Compact.
SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder. SLR cameras have detachable lenses offering greater flexibility if you wish to take a variety of different photographs.
Compact cameras have a built in lens and an ‘above lens’ viewfinder which is less accurate but they are often cheaper, more sleekly designed and easier to carry anywhere with you to capture that moment perfectly without having to fiddle with complex settings or a bag full of lenses.

No
A function for automatically detecting peoples faces and correctly adjusting the focus and exposure to take the best photo
Image Stabilisation

No
If a photo is taken at a slow shutter speed, or at a long focal length, the effects of ‘hand shake’ will be amplified. Some cameras come with built-in image stabilisation which is designed to act against this to produce sharper images.
It’s great for low light shots without a tripod, like at a gig.
