+ Simple to operate, quiet and works on our lower water pressure

- When opening the dishwasher after it has been tightly shut , it feels like it may snap.

- Layout inside makes loading difficult. Cannot get as much in as in previous machines although it is the same size. Racks, etc. thin and plasticy and not as substantial as in previous machines

+ It is quieter than my last dishwasher (12 years old). Cleans well but in a longer time.

- The upper basket is a nightmare to load! On the adjustment it is either too low or too high. I cannot fit as much in it as my previous washer - a major design fault with the shape of the basket! The lower basket is not as flexible as my old machine either. It also takes longer to achieve the same standard of cleaning as my old machine. All in all I am very disappointed and miss my 'old friend' of 12 years.

+ A nice looking machine and is quiet in comparison to others.

- The pull out bottom tray needs to have stronger wheels as it feels quite flimsy when you have a full load to push in. It doesn't glide as well as my last dishwasher.

+ It is quieter than expected, find the "eco" programme copes with most of the dishes etc & is fairly quick

+ Does a really good job on cleaing the dishes and it has so many different cycles it is perfect for just a glass run or a few dishes on a short cycle. Very please with this machine.

+ Easy to install and operate

- Closure and opening of door is not robust. I suspect this will be a weak point in th future. Would have preferred a definite latch.

- The top shelf. It has to be in the upper position to get decent sized dinner plates in - but then it is too high for wine glasses. Always end up having to wash some things by hand which was not the point of buying it!

- The bottom rack doesn't slide in and out easily,. it always gets trapped and is nightmare.
The space between the plates isn't enough for most dishes... soup bowls cannot be washed in this dishwasher unless they are upside down as opposed to sideways.
Highly disappointed in Kenwood with this machine!

+ Good overall

- Height of stacking plates........have to tilt average sized dinner plates so rotator doesn't hit

+ cleaning is good, fairly quiet, good choice of programmes.

- the rack is really badly designed, nobody uses teacups these days, and a mug will fall over when placed in the sides of the top rack, so I am disappointed with it.

- couldnt fit some plates into the machine, cups have came out wet, some items havent washed at all, had problem installing machine, instructions wasnt very clear and had to get an engineer out. not very impressed at all, if i could change the machine for another one i definately would, i'd much prefer my old zanussi which i had for 10 years and had no problems with.

+ Easy to use. This is my first ever dishwasher but I found it very easy to get started with.
It is extremely quiet.

- The brochure needs to highlight the actions required prior to its first use. I had to be told by my son about using a rinsing aid and adding salt. I did find the information eventually but that was when I was looking for it. I think the brochure should have a step by step guide for the first use, including all the things that need to be done prior to that first wash. In short, an idiots guide. Experienced users wouldn't bother to read it but it would be good to have.
Also, considering it is a triple A rated machine I was amazed that the normal wash takes two & a half hours to complete!

+ the only good point is knowing that i never have to deal with the misery of buying from curry's again

- the after care service recieved by curry's can only be described as sub-standand , with poorly trained and unhelpful staff and an operating system that beggars believe and leaves helpless customers feeling unvalued and frustrated. its obvious that no-one ever reads these reports, so am i being stupid in believing that someone will realise there has been a breakdown in customer care or will this just be ignored and left as the last survey was? it would be a shock if i heard back from anyone!

- stacking is not always easy as items get in each others way. It does not dry items fully they are often/usually still wet.

+ Excellent value for money!! Good cleaning (even on economy with the decent tablets) Good choice of cycles and you can look how many minutes left at a glance.

- I never actually used this machine as when it was delivered it had obviously been dropped in its packaging and the housing was severly dented and the feet of the model were broken.
There were no others available to replace it and so I ended up having to pay more money for an equivalent model.

+ easy to fit

- The stacking trays are poorly designed thus not allowing families to put lots of dishes in and the bottlom tray does not glide in and out very well !

+ Very good economically priced dishwasher.

- Worried about lastability as compared to other dishwashers seems a little 'tinny' but for the price you cannot expect more.

- Badly designed racks hampers wash performance when loaded with full sized dinner service pieces. Plate rack gaps too small, top rack does not hold cups/mugs well. dishwasher tablets not alwasy disolved.

+ Price. Solid build. Cycle speeds are fast. Does clean well.

- Noisy. The filter you must use sticks out about 30cm at the back of the unit. I am unable to push the unit all the way under the kitchen top so it sticks out somewhat. Bad design.
