- The water comes through almost boiling - far too hot for coffee. The flavour suffers as a result. About half the time, the paper filter bag folds over due to the sudden rush of water, with the result that half of the water is left in the filter, unable to pass through the folded filter paper. One is left with half a jug of weak coffee, and a mess of wet grounds to clean out of the filter. This is the worst coffee maker we have ever had.
