+ A basic appliance that does its job.
- My previous model (retired after some 25 years) had an extra set of blades (coarser teeth) for cutting frozen items which I used a few times; this one hasn't. Also it feels a bit flimsy.

- does not appear very sharp and needs to much pressure to cut through the meat which causes the meat to break into pieces rather than anice slice
