+ The operation manual describes what speeds best fit which jobs.
It is not difficult to make small adjustments to the height of the attachments above the bowl.
It is quiet and good-looking.
It does a good job.

- The operation manual could go a lot further in describing all the particularities and features of each of the tools and then it could also give best fit speeds.
Why can it not come out of the factory with the K beater at the right height in relation to the bowl? (Mine was too high and then, after we adjusted it, just a bit too close which caused a minor abrasion on the bottom of the K beater.

+ Looks really smart, very well made and really simple to use, takes small and large quantities, and my family love it, because I have baked almost every day since I bought it.
I had a Kenwood Chef years ago, we moved house - and my kitchen wasn't (it was like a building site) so I sold my Kenwood to a friend and eventually bought a big magimix, which was okay, but I wore it out- well it dropped to pieces.
Then I replaced it with a small mixer and a small food processor. They went in the cupboard, and the baking ingredients stayed in the supermarket! (they were too faffy to use and fiddly to clean) I gave up making all but simple things, with virtually no baking at all.
But now- well!
My meringue (whisk) would have won a master chef award! Biscuits (not made those since I was a child) are light and crunchy, and made in 5 minutes.
I now always 'mash' my potatoes with the K beater and have banished the potato ricer to the car boot box!
I have bought a lot of the attachments, though not used all of them yet. I have bought both the pasta ones, they are great, I can't believe my spaghetti actually worked- but it was excellent! Don't even think of comparing it to the 'best' fresh range in the supermarkets because it does not compare at all, the supermarket stuff is tasteless shoe leather in comparison.
I am delighted with my mixer! I have tried the rest, and wasted time money and effort.
This is the business! - Most certainly the best!

- Not too sure of the roto cutter attachment, though not used it on cheese or chocolate yet, as I found it mushed up my coleslaw ingredients, so reverted back to the processor attachment for coleslaw

+ it's for my mother, but they had one YRS ago, they sold it before they emigrated, so if they have bought another after coming back, it must be good!

+ Powerful machine, large capacity bowl, numerous attachments.

- Difficult to use small quantities in the bowl but this is only a minor quibble.

+ Excellent machine! We've used this even more than we expected in the six weeks we've had it, and we're still discovering even more that it can do. My mum has had hers for more than thirty years and it's still going strong, so when we bought this we wanted something that would be useful for years to come, too. I'm really glad that we spent that bit extra to get a quality machine that will last.

+ Solid powerful, Range Rover of the Kitchen machine world.

- Hinge joint tends to attract dirt which disappears into casing

+ It is efficient and does what is required very well. The attachments are useful and easy to fix onto the machine. It also looks good. I hope that it lasts as long as my last one - 32 years; I thought it was time to replace it before it stopped completely.

+ Well built and sturdy, feels like it should last for years. Because its so heavy you can't just put it away after use easily - you really have to leave it out - so its always there looking at you saying use me. Plus you can't help but show it off.

+ BEAUTIFUL LOOKING MACHINE!!!! - NOT EVEN GOING TO COVER IT UP. I STORE THE WHISK AND BEATERS IN THE BOWL WHILST THE MACHINE IS NOT IN USE AND I FIND THAT THE WONDERFUL SPLASH COVER KEEPS TEVERYTHING CLEAN , DUST -FREE AND READY FOR IMMEDIATE USE.
I AM A COELIAC AND HAVE TO BATCH BAKE ALL THE TIME . THIS MACHINE HAS ALREADY MADE MY LIFE MUCH EASIER- I CAN MIX THREE TIMES MY USUAL QUANTITY OF PASTRY/BREAD/CAKES INGREDIENTS WITHOUT ANY OF THE PHYSICAL EFFORT. CAN'T WAIT TO USE THE SAUSAGE MAKER!

- SOME PEOPLE MAY FIND THIS MACHINE A LITTLE NOISY - BUT I WISH I'D BOUGHT THIS SOONER

+ So quick and easy to use. Makes the most difficult jobs seem effortless.

- open and locking mechanisim is not highlighted nor smooth in operation.

+ I purchased the kenwood to make sausages, faggots , etc. Already I have made so much more, the lightest sponges, pastry,bread. I have complete confidence in my kenwood & I find myself looking for reasons to use it, as it is so easy to use. When the box arrived I have to admit I was a little daunted as there seemed so much to learn & im not the most patient. I need'nt have worried its completley practical & any one with an ounce of common sense will be using it within an hour of opening it, 30 mins of which will be spent washing all of the attachments!!
