Good solid construction. Well sized bowl. Versatile attachments and outlets. As a long time user of an earlier model, we are pleased with this upgrade.

Can't think of any yet. It is a bit heavy for my wife, but you can't have good build without it!

Classic basic design which has been improved upon over the years. Tried and tested add-ons which accomodate most needs. This one is more powerful, quiter and more elegant than the one we received 35years ago as a wedding present.
-
Fixing the dough hook, K beater etc can be a bit fiddly

An excellent upgrade from the Kenwood we had for over 20 years before the gearbox gave up. The operation of this one is quieter and the attachments are of very good quality. All stainless steel instead of aluminium. We like having a stainless steel bowl instead of plastic. We use the Kenwood practically everyday because we make our own bread with it. The food processor is a very nice attachment: one we thought we'd never use, but find ourselves using frequently. We hope the applicance lasts and gives as much service as its predecessor.
-
The food processor is a little tricky to put into place for use. We wish it were made in white, instead of metallic grey. Shiny stainless steel and chromium plate are harder to keep clean: they need to be polished and can be marred easily by any abrasive cleaner.

Totally reliable with a reputation for never breaking down. It's not the cheapest bit of kit but is worth every penny as a long term investment - my Grandmother's Kenwood is still going strong after 50 years! I recommend this product above all for the wealth of add-ons available and for the quality of the parts. For ease of use, slotting in the attachments and turning the dial to make it go is foolproof.
-
It saves you time in the kitchen but you've still got to disassemble the attachments and wash and dry them by hand. All the shiny chrome is pretty but you've got to work at keeping it looking like new! At the end of the day if you only want to chop a few vegetables it's still easier to just get out a knife.

Sleek easy clean lines. I haven't tried all the gadgets out yet but am looking forward to getting to grips with everything. Good to have one motor for all applications and not to have to buy several different machines. Seriously thinking about buying the icecream maker and big juicer.
-
Perhaps a little noisy and I'm still a little nervous of the speed dial especially when trying to "go slow" for pastry making.

I had a Kenwood for twenty plus years and loved it. This new one promises to be just as good. Looks lovely, easy to use, does all its work properly - what more can you want? The added bonus of having the food processor and liquidiser in the deal was also good as additional attachments are quite expensive.
-
I might have needed to slightly bigger one as I make bread and this one is at its limit on a 2lb loaf (1lb of flour etc.) Be sure you have bought the size you need. That said the large one would have been too big for all the other jobs as now I (mostly) cook for just two people.

The first machine lasted 27 years and other than the liquidiser was still functioning. When we looked at the latest version it was an obvious replacement, mouldings were superb, packaging was excellent, noise level greatly reduced. We belived that functionally it would be as good or better, it has proved to be better.
-
There are no bad points especially at the price we paid.
