+ Blends fruits well to make smoothies, even harder fruits such as rather firm nectarines without too much chopping first.

- The plastic jug is quite cheap feeling - scuffed after trying to scrub off a mark by handwashing.

Sundarraman, Luton , “food lover”

+ Easy to use and is very compact fitting into even the smallest kitchen

- Bad performance, Low quality material used for sealing ring and plastic axle, sealing ring got cut within 10 days of purchase, the plastics used in the axle used for rotor both in the jar as well as the motor base eroded in 15 days making the unit unusable. At least 2 weeks time for any repair duration at the Kenwood repair centre, totally unacceptable

+ comes with mill attatchment
liquid feeder incorporated into lid, can add without removing lid while blending

- mill attatchment leaves chunks of product, say grinding nuts for example so unable to produce smooth even texture.
design fault with lid, ie, drops off when pouring after blending even when turned to the 'locked' position and moves during blending.
blender must be switched off at socket before removing jug as this causes the motor to start up again.
speed position 2 just produces frothy airy mixture.
speed position 1 better but often leaves lumps behind even after slicing a banana! maybe positon of blades in comparison to base of jug?
have to remove rubber seals in blade attatchments with sharp knife to get them out to clean! I used to have an older kenwood before I purchased this one and it was far superior to the 'updated' model. The mill attatchment was superb and the blending much better, droped and damaged blades so had to replace, sadly. kenwood, what were you thinking with this blender?!

+ large capacity

- I needed it to grind spices. It only becomes clear that you can't use the grinder or blender for spices in the small print after you've bought it.

+ IT is branded but it didn't live to its quality

- Poor Quality, the pins in the smaller jar come off easily and it leaks. cleaning is also difficult. Doesn't powder grind stuff.

+ Very efficient and quick.

- Difficlt to clean even after overnight soak. (I have 'real' porridge every morning and it sticks in ridges.) I don't use a dishwasher so it might be OK then but I didn't have same problems with a Moulinex. Always a bit of a rubbery smell which I can't understand reasons for.

+ its good the way its loos and how its work is fine by me, also becouse it has the separate grinder

- it has got the rubber ring which is not good becouse if the rubber has broken or lost the liquid wiold be lick, so i think if you could tell the manufacture to chancge that would be nice

+ The liquidiser fixes on the worktop firmly so easier to use. The grinding attachment. Easy to clean.

- If you haven't got the bottom of the liquidiser fixed firmly on, the liquid pours out.

+ The whole blender is perfect.

- The only bad thing & dissapointment is i didnt purchase it because of the colour. I bought the food processor in the colour silver & i also wanted the same colour for the blender as it would go with my kitchen. So if you do have the silver one could you please notify me of where i could go & purchase it from. Thanks.
