+ Small screen surround and not very thick so does not protrude very far from the wall.
Picture is excellent apart from a very slight bleaching of some blacks, but this is a common thing on LCD tvs.
Sound is very good on TV programs and DVDs

- Sound is not brilliant on playing CDs, and although the radio is Ok it will not replace my Hi-Fi.
As with most other flat TVs the SCART sockets are positioned in such a way that with SCART leads inserted the set cannot be placed very close to the wall without making a hole in the wall to accomodate the leads

+ Went for the JVC slimline model and haven't been disappointed. This is a superb TV and home cinema system; extremely stylish, with superb picture and sound quality. The 42" screen fits perfectly into the average sized lounge etc. and perfectly

- In my opinion - none!

+ This TV is top quality as you would expect from JVC. Impressive design and super slim. Worked straight from the box and connected to sky box without any probs with the HD quality superb.

- Like all flat screen TV`s, the sound is not too brilliant but have connected my home cinema sound to it to get the full effect.

+ The slim design in fantastic. With my lounge being only of medium size i was apprensive of having a 42" TV but found with the outer rim of the TV being slim it really helped. The touch pad buttons (on/off, sound) i really like that there isnt anything sticking out of the front of the TV.

- The remote control feels cheap and looks to plastic.

+ Great design, easy to get up and running. Looks excellent as a centre piece for entertainment. Highly recommend to anyone that wants the Slimest LCD TV.

- As with other LCD TV's the black is hard to see, you need to adjust the colour (easily) depending on what you are watching.

+ 1. It's just beautiful
2. You don't see many around
3. Normal digital TV broadcasts are clear and bright, upscales without issue
4. Very little ghosting on fast moving pictures i.e sport
5. HD broadcasts are stunning
6. BluRay movies on it are stunning
7. It's still beautiful
8. Sound is pretty good for such a slim TV. MaxBass works well watching movies
9. Point 1. in the bad points is extremely trivial
10. Very funky touch sensitive buttons

- 1. Although very rare; and I only see it cos I read about it in a review, the backlight can be a little obvious sometimes,
2. a usb or memory card slot might be nice... but not sure if anyone ever uses them
