+ Easy to handle, small a wonderful picture quality zoom is excellent. Bought this camera to go on safari our film is just superb. very pleased with this camera.

+ Great look, easy to use and doesn't require endless hours reading the manual. Wife can use it also without any explanation, which is a bonus!

- Need a suitable carrying case that will protect it if dropped.

+ Image quality actually better than a Professional video camera which I had many years ago.
Small and light weight and just slips into a pocket in my main camera bag.
Fast switch on time, can be left on standby.
Video and stills can be recorded on separate media and downloaded separately, eg: Video to hard disc and stills to memory card.

- Supplied battery charge life is too short to be practical. Manufacturer's batteries are available with greater capacity, even twice as much, but they are very expensive. Generic items require a power cable to connect to the camera and so are not ideal. Leaving switched on (standby) runs battery down without it being noticed.
The touch sensor is a slight gimmick which removes the need for moving parts but is not as easy to use as something like a touchpad.
