+ This Indesit washing machine is excellent value for money. It might not have all the flashy functions that more expensive brands have, but it does the job brilliantly. There is a rapid wash option on most of the cycles, which cuts down the use of electricity and still gets the load perfectly washed. The drum holds a large load and it has two extra spin facilities if you want to cut down on drying times. I am delighted with my purchase.

- SLOW WASH SPEEDS BUT THEN THATS WHY IT COSTS LESS THAN OTHER QUICKER MACHINES

+ We have had the product for four weeks now and find it really easy to use. There is just the two of us so the drum size was fine and it washes far better than our old washing machine. You can select the time for the washing cycle to suit yourselves so if you need something in a hurry its great.For the money, i think this is a really good buy.

- Washing powder drawer is a bit basic but fine. Spin i found was good, although on some reviews people didn't rate it. It is a bit louder than my last washing machine, but not too bad. I found the securing locks at the back really hard to get to and you need the right size spanner to get them off. At one point i thought we would have to go out and purchase a specialist spanner to get into the small space provided, but we managed to get them off. (after over half an hour of trying)

+ It has all the features you would expect from a top of the range washing machine but at a value price. The drum at first doesn't seem very deep but you can fit a full load of washing in and the clothes come out really white and clean. They are also spun exceptionally well. For the first time in years, my washing would be wrung enough to use my washing line. (if the weather wasn't so bad anyway!)

- The full cycle is very long. I have to use the 'rapid wash' option every single time. Also, the machine does have an anti-crease option but yo can only use this on certain cycles. I have had the washer four weeks now and haven't yet had a load I could select this feature.

+ Lots of different programmes, easy to understand, seems energy-efficient, not very noisy - I'd definitely recommend it.

- I feel that some of the programmes take a very long time - but you can use the energy-saving programme to reduce it.

+ One of the cheapest machines I could find - good make, reliable (I hope! - So far so good), and very good range of programs. Daily wash option is great for baby clothes, compact machine but reasonable size drum.

- A little noisy when washing towels. Some of the symbols have wiped off after spilling some Ecover detergent on them and wiping clean! Strange...

+ I think this machine is all good, its a well known brand, and well known for its reliability.

+ Overall very pleased with the machine. Good wash results and sufficient control of washing settings without overly complicated controls.

- The manual states that the powder tray can be removed for cleaning but provides very vague details of how to achieve this. Our attempt caused the tray to jam and came close to breaking it before we managed to re-seat it in the machine.

- my grandson of 10 months old loves the big door and continually fill the machine with every thing from veg to shoes the washer made a good job of washing the onion he put in while i wasn't looking

+ Vast but not confusing selection of washes. 'Rapid wash' is pretty rapid. Very easy to operate. Overall I am extremely pleased with it.

- The drum was smaller than I was expecting or even thought to consider checking when purchasing a washing machine.

+ Holds a good amount of washing. It is very simple to use, even my daughter who has a learning disability and was never able to use the washing machine before is now able to do her own washing. Washing comes out well spun so dries much quicker.

+ Compared to my last machine, I find this one relatively quiet (it doesn't scare my nervous dog like the last one did!). I have found the machine to be excellent value and particulary like the daily 30 degree wash and the quick wash features. I have only had the machine for a few weeks but it is going well and I do think that it can take a larger load than my last one (which was a 5 year old Candy if your comparing).

- I know that I did not spend a fortune on this machine so relative to the cost benefit ratio there aren't any bad points, however, a half load button wouldn't have gone amiss nore a hot fill

- The spin on the economy wash is not very fast so its best to set it on a separate spin to get the clothes more dry which takes an extra 15 mins on top of the cycle
