Indesit IWDC6125

+ I was looking for a basic washer/drier for my son - ease of use and value for money being the most important considerations along with reliability. This model seemed to do what we wanted - obviously time alone will tell as far as reliability goes. I unpacked and installed the machine myself which was very straightforward. Since then (about 4 weeks ago), the machine has been reliable and has proved very easy for my son to use. His needs are pretty basic so it's hard to pinpoint specific plusses about the machine - it was a good value purchase, he's mastered it, and even as a basic "entry-level" machine it's got more features than he'll ever want to use. Very happy to recommend it.

- Some of the items washed have come out with detergent marks in them and sometimes as if the washing process was not correct (could have been due to us not being used to the settings)

I have previously always used Hotpoint but got fed up with the constant banging of the drum.So I have to say my fingers were crossed when making this purchase,however apart from the average noise level I expected this machine stands still !! No major vibrations, so yes I am a very happy bunny :-)

- I was used to having an Acrylic wash cycle, miss that. When choosing online alone, one can not see the colour used for explanation of wash cycles etc.... My preference would have been black or brown.

- When using the dryer you dont know whether or not the clothes are actually dry and the drier is full of steam. Clothes are very screwed up when dried and require more ironing.

+ this washer dryer is so simple to use and has all the washing programs i need and even has an express wash and dry cycle for the things you need washing in a hurry, i would highley recommend this washer dryer to anyone, you wont be disappointed.

*Take in very little water to wash and rinse therefore need to do rinse cycle with every wash.

+ I think its great that it has an express wash and dry feature wich can was and dry your clothes in 45mins if your only using half a load

- The dryer doesn't seem to have a cool down facility near the end of the drying cycle resulting in all the clothes coming out extremely creased - even when on the iron dry option.

price was good, but you do get what you pay for.

- Can't fault the washing cycle, but with the dryer element you can't adjust the drying cycle to less than 40 mins - there are just three time options (40 mins being the shortest), and the "ironing-ready" feature is a joke - clothes come out crumpled AND really hot! (this is my first washer dryer)

- I BOUGHT THIS AS A WASHER DRYER AND WHILST THE WASH CYCLE IS OK THE DRYER IS RUBBISH. THE CAPACITY IS REALLY LOW AND EVERYTHING GETS SO CREASED IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THE CREASES OUT

+ Remarkable drum size, and it meters the amount of water according to the load. All machines should have the same. The controls are not the clearest, but the drums size and water-efficiency are so good that I would forgive this machine far more than that.

- it is a washer dryer that is not very easy to use. The drying cycle creases the clothes like mad and it is very easy to forget the dryer cycle is still set and it drys things by accident.

+ Once I had fathomed out how to use the machine, I find it very efficient and so far, have had no complaints about it. I have not yet introduced my husband the various intricacies involved, when switching over from wash to dry. It certainly is not noisy compared to my last machine.

+ Very stylish looking machine, looks great in my new kitchen, love the flexibility of features, good dryer built in, sports shoe wash setting, and the delayed start feature which lets me run it overnight while the electricity is cheaper on economy 7 which will save me loads of money.

- Is a little on the noisy side, but given the performance and style for the price this is a minor niggle

- Drier does not removes creases fromshirts and they need ironing when they come out, uinlike a tumble drier

+ Washes very well, (proably because it takes such a long time). Fairly quiet.

- Cycle times are far far to long, the shortest cycle can only hold 0.5kg, hardly anything. so is of no use.

+ Easy to use. 6kg washing and 5kg drying is good there are not many washer dryers with large drying capacity. The noise level of the machine is very quiet, I like to delay timer so the washer comes on through the night without being woken up.

- I miss the half load feature this cut the wash time down slightly. I find that the shortest wash is over an hour, but most washing machines have longer wash cycles

This is very easy to use. The time delay is fab, never had one before, i put the machine to come on in the early hours and in the morning it is ready to hang out.
Modern looking, plenty of options and a very quiet spin.
Chuffed with it.

- On/off button, you might have to press 1 or 2 times to switch on.
