+ It cooker is really easy to use and great unless you want to cook with it.

- Design; The grill is only just over half the width of the cooker
Performance; The grill turns itself off via the thermostat when it gets even remotely warm. The fan oven cooks unevenly.
Value for money; This oven maybe fine to heat a ready meal but don't try anything more elaborate. Highly disapointing.
Overall rateing; Buy cheep buy twice, luckily I bought it for our landlord.

+ Heats up quickly and is a very efficient oven - I would guess it is quite well insulated. The convection fan really speeds up cooking and you need to reduce the temperature on most recipes accordingly.

- No significant bad points - although the stainless steel and glass do show fingerprints easily.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.

Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
