+ Good price, and having a condenser is far better than our old vented one - no more steamed-up kitchen! It's also fairly quiet, and the container for the water is very easily accessible at the top of the machine. As there's not many features it's very simple to use.

I HAVE SEEN COMMENTS ABOUT PROBLEMS WITH EMPTYING THE WATER CONTAINER BUT I JUST DO IT EACH TIME I TUMBLE AND DE FLUFF IT EACH TIME AND IT IS NOT A PROBLEM.

Drying of items is done with ease, 70mins (time I have found to be very suitable) is the usual setting on high and all items, Bedding, towels etc are dry thoroughly. The bigger drum is so useful to us as a family. Filter very easy to clean. Water collector is very easy to use, slides out and empties very easily.

- Takes twice as long to dry stuff as our previous tumble drier did. Don't know where the water goes, it doesn't do into the water collecter. Can be a bit noisy.

+ This is one of these dryers which is the same as other 'brands' with different names i.e. Ariston etc. If you check out the door, location of the condensing filter, controls etc you'll know what I mean. I had one of these before (it's still going strong, given to a family member) and I liked it. It dries efficiently, has a large drum, is built well and is easy to use.

- Like most all condensing driers it makes a bit of noise in operation and generates a fair amout of heat - in an unventilated room with say a full load of towels drying this means some condensation on a cold floor or wall, for example. But it's the same as any other, and you just have to remember to leave a connecting door open to prevent it, and it's only on those large very wet loads like towels. I'd like to try the LG direct drive load sensing dryer to see if that did away with these slight problems but at over 3 times the price, it's not worth it. This is a good dryer.

- takes to long to dry in my old dryer i could dry underware in 20 minutes now it takes an hour very Inefficient and uses more electric i used to use it all the time. i only use it now if i really have to

+ It was cheap and whilst I do not usually go for the cheapest I thought that, in this instance bearing in mind that this was not essential item, this was quite important.

- The only way of timing the machine is to turn the dial to the amount of minutes I think the washing will take to dry. I am not used to this method as I usually go for a much more sophisticated machine. The machine in noisy.

+ HUGE drum! Cycles are shorter, really easy to use.

- Only thing it's a little noisy, but soon get used to it and as the clothes don't take so long to dry, it's not on as long.

+ I am very pleased with this dryer, Indesit have never disappointed before. Larger drum size is more efficient and convenient. I even recommended dryer to a friend, she now has the same model and very happy with it.

+ I liked this tumble dryer because it doesn't have lots of complicated useless programmes, just the simple timer and 2 heat settings which is all you need. It also has a large drum and large door opening allowing easy access.

+ I bought the dryer because i didn`t want to put a hole in the wall for a vented dryer, had enough of putting the hose through a window, price / size was good and a good make, so why not.

- wish I had my old dryer back and would put a hole in the wall in a second, takes forever to dry anything I`d say three times as long, it also makes you feel clammy when your in the same room with it. A condensing dryer takes forever to dry things so I think they are not very energy sufficiant,

+ Good size capacity - easily takes an entire load with no problems. Easy to install and the appliance is surprisingly light and can be manoeuvred into place by one person. Fully adjustable drying cycles times.

- Product is quite noisy during use. Also it does produce quite a lot of fumes although these were worse when product was brand new and have now settled down. I don't like the fact that the door can be easily opened during a cycle. An additional catch on the door would be useful to prevent accidental opening.
