+ Compact size & neat design, good sound quality for its size

- Great care has to be taken placing the unit & aerial wire to get best reception. Remote control could be better.

+ Sound quality is excellent. Its very easy to change stations,it looks stylish and it is exactly what I wanted as I found it difficult to find a digital alarm clock radio with remote control

+ It may be intended for the bedroom,but its stylish design makes it perfect for a small cottage lounge,with excellent quality of sound and DAB radio which has been difficult to receive in this part of Devon. I'm delighted.

Picked up 50 DAB stations (and I apparantly live in a poor DAB area!)
Also has FM radio and is a very good CD player.
Includes remote control.
Lots of features like multiple alams, sleep timer and a station preset list.
Fantastic value for money.

- Neither remote or unit has 'numbers' so it can sometimes be annoying cycling though a number of stations to get to the one you want.

+ Versatility - DAB/FM radio; cd player; mp3 amplifier, all at the touch of a button or two

- Buttons on device are fiddly on occasions & remote would benefit by having more functions available - "sleep" button especially

+ The great thing about this alarm is you can set up four different alarms. For instance; One for Monday to Friday, another for Saturday, another for Sunday, and a spare.

- Setting the alarm is fairly complicated until you become used to it. You can program several set-ups within the alarm and need to scroll through all the options choosing what you need; straightforward once you know the buttons.

+ Superb piece of kit - NIL SECUNDUS - good to look at and excellent ease of operation. Can not be faulted - my third purchase of a Pure DAB radio.

- Pressing the buttons pushes the unit around (has to be held down);
Weak bass reproduction (even with bass set to max);
Vertical display viewing angle (unreadable if standing near the unit - with the unit on a bedside table);

+ Design and size allows product to fit anywhere in any room. This purchase is to fit on a worktop surface of a new kitchen.

- Blue display could be sharper.

+ The unit is compact and easy to use. Radio station selection and tuning is particularly simple. Sound quality is excellent.

- The pre-sets seem pointless as having selected the stations and programmed them in there doesn't appear to be a way to recall them without retuning to them.

+ Easy set up, and sound quality excellent. Alarm flexibility is great, love the fact I can set a Monday to Friday alarm, and not worry anymore about it!

- Aerial wire is quite short, but doesn't appear to affect reception, would just like a longer wire to hang up.

+ the sound quality is excellent for such a compact unit and it looks good and the build quality is impressive. the input port for an mp3 is a great bonus. DAB reception is excellent and scrolling display gives good info.

Easy to use - as long as you read the manuel!!

- CD sound quality is not great - there is a noticeable hiss. On occasions the system cannot read some CDs which is rather inconvenient.

- haven't found any yet....sad point, not a bad point, the reason it was bought was to listen to The Jazz and it's being discontinued on 25th March...which is absolutely ridiculous...the clarity of the jazz is excellent...

+ Great design, easy to use, once you get the hang of it, does eveything you need it to and can be used not just as an alrm clock, but as a domestic radio. It is also unique in look, but looks really good unlike some other brands.

- If headphones are plugged in, the alarm is through the headphjones and not the speakers. As a bedside clock radio, I listen using my headphones so I don't disturb my wife and of course can't hear the alarm.

- Flimsy radio aerial - difficult to position for best reception.

+ I use it as a bedside alarm so i like the fact that it has more than one alarm setting. Sound quality is good enough for me. Because its ecoplus, I like the fact im doing my bit for the environment too.

- Took a bit of working out, but thats probably just me.

- Setting the alarm is a bit fiddly- lots of buttons, lots of options. Great if you wake up the same time each day, but otherwise, have to go through it every time.
