+ This is the best phone I have ever had. Windows mobile runs a treat and the HTC interface is easy to use. The phone is smaller than most Windows mobile touch screen devices but is bigger enough for most applications. I have installed Tom Tom sat nav and the in-built GPS receiver works better than the Tom Tom device I used with my previous phone. So far I have no problems with this phone. Oh yes - it looks good too!

- Battery does not last long - but this is normal for Windows Mobile devices with touch screens

graham, pilton , “like gadgets, sensitive, unfussy”

+ small and light. feels nice. screen is sensitive. loudspeaker is good. photo's show up well on this device.

- does not move between functions smoothly. screen goes blank just as you make a call, when i want to switch to loudspeaker, this means i have to go to the top button to activate the screen then to l.s'r...hard to find some customise options. they are all in there but spread out all over the place. can't type in and save a number while you are in a call. can't add contacts number to a text msg. feels clunky around calling in general, like finding a contact quickly and making a call to them involves a dextrous finger and on-screen as well as hard buttons. this item is very much reliant on the stylus for even basic functions and this is difficult when you're just out and about wanting to call friends.

+ Nice windows interface.
Good battery life (when not in WiFi mode)

- Setting up networks is a pain, always going on G3 all night and can't be stopped.
Software seems jammed in not a fluid way to navigate.
Too heavy to run with.

+ Windows mobile - compatibility with Outlook for work. Internet & GPS for occasional use. Good size compromise - big enough screen, without device getting to big.

- Not always intuitive to use. Some options seem hidden. Phone keypad not available to select options during a call without additional key press.

+ The screen is good quality, and the touch interface is sensitive and responsive. Size and weight are both very impressive, very compact design and good quality feel to the phone. Windows 6.1 is very good, a lot of complaints are purely because people don't know how to use it, but if you're okay with your PC you will be fine with this.

- Takes a little bit of time upon turning the phone on to get warmed up, but that is to be expected. Camera is only really useful in decent lighted areas. Slightly complicated getting connected to wireless networks, must be quite tech-savvy to use it effectively.
