- bad battery life and wont connect via bluetooth with other mobiles

+ the fully functionall touch screen along with the QWERTY keyboard make it really easy to use and simple for SMS and Emails, the music function is well designed aswell all in all a brilliant mobile phone. The mobile apps are brilliant

- The battery isn't as long as most other phones so if you constantly use the phone the battery could die quickly, and its inability to send files via bluetooth you can only use the bluetooth for handsfree with is a bit of a let down, not coming with standard video recording capability is a bit of a downer but luckily you can download free apps which let you make videos.

- Battery life, camera has no flash and bluetooth only connects to headsets

+ its great like having a mini laptop with you all the time and like that the apps in the market are free

- Battery goes down very quickly when browsing.

+ The notifications bar is very good easy to see if you have an email, text or missed call, and the text part is good as it just continues on from your last messege to that person.

- The battery life only lasts a day, and if you go on a game it wont even last a day. Sending emails can take a couple of days to go through.

+ Web browsing with this phone is incredible, with 3G turned on, it is as fast as Or even faster than my home internet connection.
Applications in the 'Market' (a re-make of apples App store) are so useful and entertaining, and almost all are Free.
The navigation and keypads on the phone are great, the combantion of track ball, touch screen and keyboard is incredible.
Battery life is unexpectadly good, free applications can be downloaded help manage power usage.

- The phone feels fragile. The case does not feel like it would withstand any extent of damage. I see many insurance claims in the future for this model.

- It never has signal, and allways goes to answerphone. Also the battery onl lasts about hours.

+ Brought this phone for my 13 yr old daughter and instantly wanted it myself, some really fab applications you can download from the market place and mostly all free!!! its easy to use, and looks good too.

+ All in all a very useful intuitive software interface backed up with good hardware, plenty of expansion room and the ever useful full QWERTY keypad, definitely my preference over a full touch screen.

+ The whole phone is great, pushed emails, calander, syncing, browsing, the novel apps that keep coming, over all the functionality of the phoen is fantastic as well as the fact it is always updateing to perform better and better functions.

- The battery.... but not as big an issue as I make out as if you use it on normal G mode rather thaan 3G it will easliy last 3 days comapred to around 30 hours on 3g only. the G gives you all the functionality of emails and calander at a slightly slower pace whihc you won't notice unless you are browsing. why doesn;t latitude work? why is there no amazon mp3 store yet for the UK?)

+ The qwerty keyboard is easy to use, as well as the on screen keyboard. Tons of applications are available for the phone. I especially like the choice of using a keyboard and touch screen depending on my needs at that moment in time.

- The phone can be slow to use and you can't turn off applications like the camera once you have started them, which eats into the battery life. The phone needs charging every night and I also charge it in the car.

- The touch screen doesnt always register, and on odd occasions has a mind of its own. The battery life is very poor. Cannot bluetooth to mobiles other than G1s, so far that seems to be it.

+ I love how the messages go together and its like reading a written conversation.. It would be good if you could delete multipule messages. I love the touch screen and the ball and it just looks funky. I like googleing stuff when iim out and youtubeing it. The anaroid market is cool but most of them after downloading mess up and slow the phone down even more!! For a 3.2 mp it is good high quality, i think it would be better if the camera had more functions like black/white ... frames.. zoom!

- NO BLUETOOTH!!! That is seriously bad... it needs bluetooth. Also music I can't get hold of any bcs my friemds can't bluetooth them to me and I paying isn't an option that also let's the phone down alittle. It could be louder aswell.. but apart from that its a good phone.

- I don't like the fact you can't bluetooth music, and the camera don't have a flash. Also the Contacts is way to simple & boring e.g. Ringtones & pictures for chosen contacts.Most importantly when recording a video & transfering it to the pc theres no sounds on the video. Why is that? And the batterie to fast!!!

+ So many good points... too many to mention. Probably the Android Market place - loads of apps, games and tools and most of them are FREE! Great design and is definately a head turner.

- The battery life is TERRIBLE. I put mine into Airplane mode to conserve battery time when not using it.

- Batery is pritty bad, especially when spending long times on the phone and web browsing, but it isnt too bad plus you can buy extra batery from t.mobile. Camra is not to good either as it blurs alot same as camcorder.

2. phone ringer, alarm and reminder alarm does not ring loud enough or long enough. the motorolla phone is a good example of what I would prefer.
3. The calender schedule function does not copy events to other days at random choice. This would be extremely useful for copying dutys.
4.if you made the picture quality on this product of a higher standard and added a video taking function this product would be unbelieveable!

+ When I first saw a mobile phone a number of years ago, I thought about what my perfect phone would be like, and this is the first time I have seen one that approaches my ideal. The most important features for me are ease of use of the internet; easy, swift access to my email; the ability to customise the desktop and add applications; the opportunity to write new applications if I so wish; the fact that it does not seize up and need rebooting like other smartphones; and the fact that it is not made by Apple :o)

- The battery life is not very good - I get 48 to 60 hours normal use out of a charge.

+ Truely great open source operating system. Wonderful programming platform with great tools. The market place for applications (free and non-free) will grow and change the way we use phones. Gone are the days with sandboxs where the core applications cannot be changed.

- Battery life is poor but other 3G phones also have this problem. Tethering is limited but there is a application available now: tetherbot. Screen is slightly creaky, but nothing really bad. Camera could be better. None of these points should stop people buying this great phone. Android rules (or will rule)!

+ Internet connectivity and the way applications seamlessly link to the browser. Applications have rich graphics and most run smoothly. Like the way that I can customise it to my own spec, more features to be added over time so for tech heads and developers this phone is a dream.

- The battery is my biggest bugbear! With a stretch of only a day if using wifi or having made 3-4 average length calls.

+ Its greatfor the internet, and they keypad is handy. Easy enough to use when you get used to it.

does everything every other phone boasts about, all packed into this one phone but then pushes the bounderies and delivers even more!!

design when charge lead or phones are plugged in means diff to hold and type.
space bar on the side of keyboard rather than at bottom would have been better
but these are small things though coz phone is great!!

+ Its a great phone for teenagers to professionals, my daughter loves the browsing features and the little treats that attach to it like the music recognition feature, I found the email, and organiser great for keeping me informed day to day, and the ease of use. Its a great little phone.

- The key pad is small and any chunky thums and you hit more than one button at a time takes a bit of getting used to but to be fair with the amount I text it only took a week.
